Ah, the joy of a day spent entirely in bed. Yesterday may have been all wobbly tummies and carsick mutterings, but today? Today is a duvet kingdom. No guilt, no rush, just you, pillows, and perhaps a biscuit or three that somehow find their way under the covers. You can line up your favourite shows (Thunderbirds or a Bluey marathon, if you fancy), keep a notebook by your side in case a funny thought pops up, and bask in the luxury of not moving unless it’s for tea.
The best part? Staying in bed makes the whole world shrink to a manageable size—just soft sheets, gentle entertainment, and the knowledge that no one is judging you for wearing pyjamas until bedtime again. It’s not laziness, it’s recovery with flair.
Such fun.
