January 13 - My real life took me out for breakfast at McDonalds. It was great! We had bacon and cheese McMuffins, and from Tesco we had a sausage roll each, and my real life had a chocolate milk while I had a strawberry milkshake. Yum! Come to think of it, I seem to be missing someone in my life right now…

The Best Christmas Trip Out Ever

I take Brains, Alan, Tin Tin, Bluey, Bingo, K9, Twiki and Marvin The Paranoid Android on a trip to the big city to do some artistic Christmas shopping at Hobbycraft. It's their first time, and they look around to see all the wonderful sights and smells - Bluey also sees someone a bit like her on some of the products, and I meet a new friend - a pup in a wheelchair named Mousse, who is disabled. Mousse and his carer Twinkle agree to join us, and we all have a nice, filling Grinch meal from McDonald's before we fantasise being on a desert island and make a few stops at Home Bargains and Tesco during dusk on the way home.

A Trip To McDonald's

At last, my support worker returned with the food. She ordered me to pull down the middle bit of the seat so I could put my drink in it. Once I did, she gave me a whole box full of chicken nugs and French fries. They looked so delicious, and tasted so tempting! That disturbing Listiverse article was still swimming around in my head like a skeletal seal swimming in toxic green acid, but I ignored it and started eating my chicken nuggets. All the while, instead I thought about the moment in The Lion King when Simba was introduced to the art of bug eating by his new friends Timon and Pumbaa, during the Hakuna Matata sequence in the film. “He comes, with a very pleasant crunch.” I crunched as I downed mouthfuls of the chicken nuggets that came with my meal. Then I took an interest in the French fries and downed every morsel I could get my mucky paws on. “Slow down, mate,” said Kangaroo Jack, “Save some for me!” So I lent Jack some, and boy were they delicious to a kangaroo’s taste. “Still, uh….where’s the brownie?”
