From Curry Quest To Pass The Parcel!

Ludo once again sent me a hand-written letter! It was a little damp because it got wet on the way to my house, but it claimed about the new series premiering last year on November 22nd. I'm glad I have such a great series like Bluey to watch. My only wish now is to see these wonderfully-made episodes.

Aussies, you can fulfil your dream. Click on these two links below to see episodes of Bluey and Scream Street.
Just to make sure my UK friends don't get left out...

Father Christmas Needs A Wee & Other Hilarious Christmas Books To Share With Your Little Ones

When I was little, I owned this hilarious Christmas book named Father Christmas Needs A Wee. I found the title pretty hilarious, but the book wasn't hilarious - it was just a typical average counting story. However, these other slapstick Christmas stories will have you and your children laughing their stockings off with Santa and a wide variety of crazy characters.

The Best Things About Lucy

This is Lucy. She's one of many diaries I've brought for 2022, and she's the best out of all the diaries I've brought. She helps me not forget the things I'm supposed to do next year, but she's also useful for all the things you're looking forward to if you're autistic and you want to become a writer. Here are a few examples:

You can write story synopsises in her. On the first day of the diary, I wrote down the synopsis for something I'll do after Boxing Day - a few bonus bits, including one named Quiet Time, which is related to my version of Baby Race, an episode of Bluey. I'll continue to do some more as the days go on...that is, if I can stick to my anti-frustration plan book.

You can write shopping lists and lists for what you're going to bake if you're not going to make something. When I'm going out, I'll write shopping lists so my support workers won't forget what I'm buying me. For example, when I'm with Charlotte, I'll write down bacon rolls, Smarties and orange juice, and when I'm going to bake something with Mairi and she can't bake it, I'll write down some entirely different suggestions, such as that Pinkie Pie-Duggee-Ubercorn cake that I've always wanted to bake and ice.

And with all these story synopsises I have put down in my diary, I'll put up teasers by the code of 'Lucy' starting on Sunday December 26th, with 'I.B.F.Fs Bonus Bits - Quiet Time'. See you then!

The Bake Off Make Off

To celebrate the launch of new episodes of Disney's Magic Bake Off coming to Disney+ tomorrow, I've found a whole bunch of crafts for you and your little ones to enjoy. Sure, there are lots of Disney crafts out there, but these are just a few, themed around each Disney topic in each of the current episodes available.
The first episode is based around Descendants. Your kids will probably want to make the cakes featured, but as they're too large to make a require a lot of ingredients, you might want to make these delicious dark side velvet cupcakes. Next, there's Disney Theme Parks, and while scouring for activities based around those Disney Parks I discovered this beautiful Princess & The Frog-themed Tiana wreath - perfect for hanging on your door at Christmas if you love her adventure in the bayou! Next, treat your little princess to a Disney Princess nature craft, which uses elements from nature to dress up the princesses, like Belle and Cinderella. I couldn't find any crafts themed around Bunk'd, but let's move onto my favourite Disney film of all time, The Lion King - these printable Lion King colouring and activity sheets will ignite the king or queen in anyone. Toy Story is next, and while I lay off the film for the moment because of a certain two-part Scream Street episode horrifically named to be one of many to catapult the show into its unsettling tone, maybe your kids will get messy making this Toy Story-themed slime based around the aliens from the rocket claw machine. As it's nearing Christmas, and since Frozen is a Disney property that symbolises the time of year, make these Mickey Mouse-shaped Frozen ornaments to hang on your tree. Finally, although it's not Halloween yet, Zombies was the Disney Channel film appropriate for that time of year, but to me, whenever I see a zombie in films or on TV, I think about Doug. Luckily, the final craft for that section is some Zombies-inspired cheerleading pom poms.

Don't forget to watch Disney Magic Bake Off on Disney+, and also watch episodes of Disney Family Sundays featuring The Little Mermaid, Frozen 2, Tangled, Toy Story, Princess & The Frog, The Lion King, Beauty & The Beast, Snow White & The Seven Dwarves and Moana to find more craft related fun featuring your favourite Disney characters!

ScreamBlue Challenge Day 18 - Light Fingers & Faceytalk

We're going on a virtual playdate today, and we're doing what Bluey and Bingo did with Muffin and Socks in today's new Bluey adventure, Faceytalk! First, we need to spruce up the backgrounds a bit. Choose from six fun backgrounds for kids to use, or, if your options are getting old, try out these backgrounds from Disney, Trolls and Sesame Streetsome fun PBS backgrounds or those cute CBeebies backgrounds featuring Hey Duggee and Love Monster. Now it's time for some fun - start with some fun games that kids can play with their friends and family via video call, or some creative ways to spend a virtual playdate - reading stories and using stickers are both a good idea. When you're in need of a story, these well-written books which you can share on virtual playdates are a great example to start up a book club with friends - Klawde: Evil Alien Warlord Cat and Wedgie & Gizmo are perfect for animal lovers. Or, if you want to watch a bit of Llama Llama or Chip & Potato, get out the popcorn and snacks and set up a virtual Netflix watch party! If you haven't got Netflix, other streaming services like Disney+ and BBC iPlayer would do good. Which reminds me...

Watch Light Fingers on iPlayer and Faceytalk on ABC iView (watch Light Fingers on iView too if you live in Australia):
