The Stallion's Children

This is an idea I thought up yesterday while out with Miss Celestia - one concerning Furaha and Orko. In this stand-alone story, a mother stallion gives birth to a young foal, only to discover it is a stillborn. So when she discovers Furaha and Orko sitting alone in the desert, she is overjoyed. She defies the protection of the herd in the desert and goes to the meadow to live with her two adopted children. Furaha and Orko spend the day playing in the soft, gentle meadow under their mother's watchful eye. They play with the younger stallions in the meadow herd, explore their vast, growing natural world and sometimes explore even the curious places. Unlike Dreamworks' Spirit series and other horse adventures like The Young Black Stallion, there's no danger or peril, just fun, motherly love and bonding between a kind hearted stallion and her two adopted children. Orko of course, being from the 2002 He Man series where he was cruelly ignored, and Furaha being my original character. Here are ten things I want to happen in the story:
  1. Furaha and Orko roll down a steep, grassy hill.
  2. Furaha and Orko rest under the shade of a tall oak tree with their stallion mother.
  3. Furaha and Orko's various encounters with the meadow herd.
  4. Furaha and Orko climb blossom trees.
  5. Furaha and Orko play with the three young stallions.
  6. Furaha chasing butterflies across the rolling hills and valleys.
  7. Furaha and Orko learning to fish while their mother drinks from the stream.
  8. Furaha and Orko snuggling near their mother and safely drifting off to sleep.
  9. Furaha and Orko visiting the beach with their mother.
  10. Furaha and Orko playing with their mother and rolling on the ground with her when her back itches.
Run free, dear friends. May your young hearts find a place to stay while you're in this story...for now.
