10.My Tiring Day
Yesterday, I had felt tired and slow, not because of low blood sugar, but because of...er...work commitments. I made it through to 8 O'Clock, but it all went into deep blood when I got woken up by Mum's loud snoring. Hopefully I'll have another night without ANY snoring.
9.A Town Called Panic
You've heard of the Nickelodeon series, but have you heard of this surrealist movie? It's about Cowboy, Horse and Indian, who all live in the countryside. After a mistake blows up their house, they go on a cross country adventure to get some new friends and repair it again. There will be some zany moments here and there, but it's guaranteed to make any one of you laugh until your sides split.
8.Thundercats
I have heard of the 2011 Thundercats series, starring my dear little friend Snarf, but I haven't heard of the 1980's series...until the day I get this DVD. The original adventures of a much older Lion O and his friends Tygra, Cheetara, Panthro, Wileykit, Wileykat and Snarf will be present for me to buy on DVD, with Snarf having an expanded vocabulary including his ever irritating 'Snarf Snarf!'. And to think kids of the '80s only had Orko, there were lots of other sidekicks just waiting to make friends with you!
7.Princess Of Blossom
All princesses are scented of blossom. That's how it feels to Orko during this story, where he wanders through a blossom orchard with Furaha to show her her place as the Princess Of Sakura Valley. From gently touching the soft petals of the blossoms to breathing in their fresh scent, these are the rituals of what makes a blossom princess - and Furaha will be a sweet little one at that.
6.Sick In Love
Orko wakes up a bit queasy and vomits onto his pillow. Also, I'll admit: Trollan vomit is purple slimy glitter. Eeeewww! Anyway, Orko gets lots of attention, including cuddles and hugs, a story and a moment lying in Ua's soft arms. Instead of being jealous and throwing a massive fit like Angelina Ballerina would, Furaha just goes with the flow, falls asleep on the sofa and has a nice dream about sleeping in a godly figure's arms with Orko beside her. Now I wonder if that God might be Lord Mufasa?
5.The Nursery In Trolla
Aaaaaaaawwww, it has to be the cutest one on the list. At bedtime, Furaha falls asleep and has a dream about returning to Trolla with Orko by her side (actually, it's Orko's dream about returning to Trolla, not her's) and discovering the nursery where he used to work before his horrible life in Eternia. First, they enter the Newborn Room, where they cuddle, cradle, tickle and nuzzle all the newborns who deserve a hug. Then it's onto the Baby Room, where Furaha and Orko play with all the Trollan babies who are just learning magic and are in the crawling stage. I've thought up a few moments in the story such as Furaha feeling a velvety Trollan newborn nuzzle her cheek, to which she giggles and says, "The babies feel like velvet on my fur!" and then in the Baby Room she says, "Look - toes!" to one of the baby Trollans, pointing to her hind paws. The baby Trollan then grabs hold of her toes, causing her to giggle.
4.My Emotional Support Things
Things that give me emotional support include A Town Called Panic, my Pikachu and Pinklight Sparkle toys, My Little Pony, Orko from He Man, Strange Hill High and Scream Street. The other people at the Drop In session would be able to talk about their emotional support things t0o!
3.Furaha Cares For Orko
Even great Trollan magicians need care and love sometimes, and in this vignette, Furaha cares for Orko when he is struck down with a cold. She brings him milk and cookies on a tray, she paints for him what a cold looks like to his kind and even sings him a lullaby. Wouldn't it be nice to have someone like Furaha tend to you when you have a nasty cold?
2.Furaha's Baby Brother
Imagine if Orko were Furaha's little brother and not her big brother. It is imagined during a dream in 'Furaha's Baby Brother', where Furaha dreams of having Orko be adopted as a baby from an adoption shelter by her parents, and she takes good care of him - feeding, snuggling, cuddling, stroking and tickling him - the same way Orko would care for his little sister in real life. In fact, the entire vignette is a dream.
1.The Waterfall
Another vignette featuring Furaha and Orko in the jungle, this one sees them wander through the forest, until they come across the most beautiful waterfall they've ever seen, near a crystal clear lake. They splash in and out of the waterfall, stand behind it, then shower under it, and next do all the things you'd expect for them to do in open water - splash each other, play in the coolness of the currant and relax. I'm sure the drop-in people would want to relax too.
