Was Scooby Doo & The Cyber Chase An Obvious Cash Grab For The Learning Company?

I used to see Scooby Doo & The Cyber Chase as a kid on Boomerang, and it proved to be a great history lesson - much better than Horrible Histories on CBBC, with its repetitive sketches and Sharon Miller-like tone - with the gang visiting various locations in history and helping their red-collared red-shirted counterparts of Scooby and Shaggy perform various crazy antics on the monsters at the fair. But! Was it a cash grab to help The Learning Company sell their Scooby Doo CD roms? This film may look like The Magic School Bus, a show I used to watch on Pop, but I never played the Scooby CD roms, only ones like Teletubbies and Noddy, so I think these CD roms were basically inspired by the popularity of Cyber Chase because the Scooby Gang seem to like being educational game stars.

My Diary - 17th-23rd August

17th August

It's been a bad day, but here are the good parts: Mildred reunited with Luella and Dog Loves Books crossed over with Hey Duggee.

18th August

I LOVE today's Dog Loves Books episode! So much I created Bedtime Baboon's cousin Matilda.

19th August

Depression, confusion and adult situations? No thanks! The 'Hood's much better.

20th August

My new favourite Scooby Doo movie is like a mix of The Sorcerer's Apprentice and The Care Bears Movie.

21st August

Allah! Dog made a new friend today. She loves making up stories, like me!

22nd August

It was a boring day. UNTIL! I saw four new shows coming to Tiny Pop next month.

23rd August
It had been a horrible start and end to this week. I'll see the lighter side next week!
