Tickle Socks, Sugar Heart, Scrubs & Friends

In the '80s, as well as Longears and Pink Teddy, I own three other toys that are my personal favourites - Tickle Socks the pony, Sugar Heart the teddy bear and Scrubs the Pooch. Care Bears, Rub-A-Dub Doggie and even the Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine are all featured in this article, which explain the friends of Tickle Socks, Sugar Heart and Scrubs!

Panda & Other Ice Creams & Lollies We Loved In The '80s

This is Panda - one of the many ice creams you'd expect to find on this list, alongside a peculiar Star Wars themed one. Well, if we were to live in the '80s, I would love Panda. Luke would love Zoom, Resus would love Dracula, Cleo loved Fat Frog and Six would love Star Wars. Dig and Lulu on the other hand would love Mr Men, because they're bright and colourful. These ice creams are to be found in the new Bluey episode 'Fairytale'. Have you watched it yet? I've yet to have!

Faceytalk - Sharing (For Bluey Recaps)

Bluey Recaps has just put up a review of Faceytalk on their Facebook page, so that we can find out more about Bluey and Bingo video-calling Muffin and Socks! To celebrate, I'm going to show you, and especially Bluey Recaps herself, how to spice up a video playdate! First, choose one of these fun backgrounds to use when on a video call - those include Disney Princess, Sesame Street and We Bare Bears, but you can use favourite shows from PBS since there's a PBS Kids channel on in Australia at the moment - those include Arthur and Pinkalicious & Peteriffic. Once you've chosen your background, choose from one of these 15 games you can play over Skype or Zoom, and to wind down have the kids engage in a little storytime with their favourite picture books - this article will show you how.

Foodtastic Fun & More Bake Off Make Off

As far as you know, Disney+'s new original series Foodtastic and new episodes of Magic Bake Off premiered on the streaming service yesterday. These, along with Sonny With A Chance, are the best things to ever premiere on the streaming service since Bluey, Zenimation and Star Wars Galaxy Of Sounds. I now offer you a series of crafts based on the Disney franchises covered in these shows.
Let's start off with Foodtastic. In each episode, host Keke portrays a character who is in the middle of a dilemma relating to the movie or topic, and the food artists have to help her, all the while Keke acts as an actual host throughout the show. The first topic covered is Ant-Man & The Wasp, and while I lay off ants when eating because of what their ancestors did to that baby bird long ago, I give you an Ant Man activity pack and colouring sheets. Both Foodtastic and Magic Bake Off covered Star Wars in their latest shows, so since I'm doing Foodtastic first, I'm offering this DIY death star panel light switch so you can bring the dark side into your bedroom! I covered Toy Story in the previous Bake Off Make Off, so there's no harm in doing another craft - this one is themed around Hamm the piggy bank, and once again those little aliens. There are heaps of Beauty & The Beast crafts out there, heck, even this blogger set herself and her kids up to become a real Disney Princess! Usually I find the Avengers and other Marvel properties are not meant to mix, especially after Endgame, but now's the time to make these Infinity Stone crayons. Next is Cars, and making Lightning McQueen and Mater out of popsicle sticks could be quite easy. My favourite, The Lion King, comes up next, and this little lion photo frame, perfect for when you want to remember going to Animal Kingdom and meeting Timon and Rafiki. There are no other crafts for Up besides balloon fingerpainting, and an Up movie party to go along with it. I couldn't find any crafts relating to Wreck It Ralph, but I did find this cute craft relating to Ralph Breaks The Internet. All of the Pirates Of The Caribbean crafts were from Disney Family, but since I couldn't access them, all I could find were these swashbuckling pirate-themed kid friendly tattoos that you can wear while watching the film. Since The Muppets finishes everything off, make yourself a pull-apart Kermit The Frog pinata for your next Muppets-themed party.
Now onto Magic Bake Off, and it's no doubt the two look so similar. To start with, I couldn't find any crafts relating to Big City Greens, but for Star Wars, and especially for the cold weather, you can make these Star Wars hand warmers. Now, since the episode following is all about Mickey Mouse, something the channel that airs Magic Bake Off, Disney Channel, ignores a lot, try these Mickey & Minnie Oreo cookie pops. As an appropriate finale, whether you have visited Disney Land the first time, or have got a button featuring your favourite characters, there's no doubt you can turn it into an ornament for the tree.

Find more creative Disney fun by watching Disney Family Sundays on Disney+, where you can find more artistic fun featuring your favourite characters!

DIY Hot Cocoa Kit

Cocoa, more COCOA, SO MUCH COCOA! This is the true drink highlight of Christmas. I've yet to try eggnog because it doesn't involve eggs, but cocoa is my all time favourite. If you're going out with a support worker, why don't you try hot cocoa on the go-go? These six sisters will show you how.

ScreamBlue Challenge Day 20 - The Curse Of Eternal Youth & Fairytale

For this final challenge, we're going way back to the '80s, because that's the theme of Bandit's origin story in the latest Bluey episode! Start things off by checking out the cool trends of the decade. Who else remembers owning Garbage Pail Kids collectable baseball cards? If Luke, Resus, Cleo and I lived in the '80s, we would live in a forest near a lake, and live a happy life. First, make some fish play dough, as fishing may be our favourite pastime, followed by a recipe for raspberry pie. Follow it on by discovering some more cool things about the '80s, including toys they used to play with back then - if I lived in that decade, I would be playing with Care Bears, the Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine and Rub-A-Dub Doggie. Top it all off with my favourite part of the '80s - the cartoons they used to see! This includes Superted, a childhood favourite of mine (I saw it on VHS tapes, so I grew up in 2000s').

Watch The Curse Of Eternal Youth on iPlayer, and Fairytale on ABC iView (watch The Curse Of Eternal Youth on iView too if you live in Australia):
