My Views On Hardball
That's the entrance music for CBBC's new resident gangster, Mikey!
Like Nowhere Boys, Mustangs FC, Itch and especially Bluey, Hardball originates from Australia because all of its characters come from Australian heritage and go to an Australian school. There's lots of background details you love to see, such as the Australian animal pictures on the walls of the school, the children hanging out in the playground, the words on the whiteboard and the outdoor board such as the school photos and the P&C meeting...WHAT THE HELL IS A P&C MEETING?!
Oooh.
Anyway, Hardball is a mix of Jamie Johnson, Mustangs FC and Snaps, as it follows Mikey as he moves from New Zealand to West Sydney. His aunt, who runs the garage, feeds him gravy on pizza and mucky hummus and acts like he's the centre of abuse, and his friends and rivals always support him - okay, all except the Asian girl who wears glasses. The head teacher is struggling to run the school, and is constantly in love with a football group, and there's this pea-brained IT teacher who sits at his computer all day like I do sometimes. I'd love to work at the Sweet Yummy bakery, because there are lots of good cookies for sale. Oh my god! To me, Hardball is all about gang war and violence. If I were to direct Hardball, it'd be about violence and gangster privilege, with Mikey wearing shades and a black overcoat with guns in his belt, and his aunt would constantly abuse and swear at him. Hardball would be aimed for adults as a result.
Hardball is about being dragged into gangster ownership, so watching Jamie Johnson and Mustangs FC is much better.
Express Yourself - What Do You Like Most About School?
I like all the storywriting bits at school. If I were still watching CBBC in my secondary school years, I'll make educational stories starring Luke, Resus and Cleo.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/live-lessons/500-words-2018-live-lesson/zv87hbkDiary Of A Wimpy Kid Journal - 17.5.21

Luke, Resus, Cleo and I head to the market in the village and get ice cream, pizza and juice to go with our chocolate eggs...but the moment we get back, they're gone! I suspect they're being used for a certain s'mores trifle...
I'm spending a day without my phone because it's full of storage and I can't use it, but luckily, Mum said there would be a surprise either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow I bet it's going to be a pink fluffy toy poodle with a red collar called Fluffy...or maybe something to do with all the praise I'm getting these days.
Camping: An I.B.F.Fs Friendship Story - The Market
Luke, Resus, Cleo and I head to the village near the field to get things to go with our chocolate eggs for lunch like pizza, ice cream and juice, but when we get back to the hill, we find the eggs have gone! Who could've taken them?
Always Eat Your Peas!
When I was still in school and had to watch Monsters Inc as part of a monster-related project, my old mentor said the real slogan for Monsters Inc wasn't 'We Scare Because We Care' but it was 'Always Eat Your Peas'. My old mentor made fun of this and Finding Nemo, and this was really appropriate because monsters never eat green food...
....so Mike and Sully's favourite book is this one, one I always read in primary school when I was very young: Eat Your Peas. This is why Monsters Inc has a new slogan that encourages healthy eating in little monsters.
It's Emerged!
That's right, Bluey has emerged as one of the leading shows on the bottom of the CBeebies page, alongside Hey Duggee and JoJo & Gran Gran. Check out lots of amazing Bluey content to celebrate on the show's CBeebies website page.
Bluey Colouring Sheets & A New Clip
There are finally some Bluey colouring sheets on the CBeebies website! But they're not all of Bluey and her friends, they're just of Bluey and her family. The other thing that recently appeared on the CBeebies website is a clip from a yet-to-be-aired Bluey adventure named 'Work' where Bluey and Dad pretend to play at work, and Bingo is a mentally unstable frog with no limited vocabulary!
My Full Up Phone
I'm sorry to tell you that my phone storage is full up. I've used it for a year and half now, and yesterday I royally gave up my phone so I can use my Amazon Fire...but it doesn't work and it only works for Amazon instead of Google. I have a new phone spent with Grandma's money which is coming tomorrow, so until then, I'm going to have to thrive without it, and I've switched it off too. Mum's thinking about getting a Sim card so I can text her like I did in my school days...as long as I promise not to call anyone except Mum. Now I'm living just like people did in Victorian times! Almost...
Okay, Now You're Really Into Bitesize - CBBC In Another Language
This week on Bitesize, it's all about travelling the world, but since they're covering geographical issues and not worldwide stuff (they're especially not showing Where In The World like I predicted), I thought I'd make those kinds of stuff from Monday-Friday, starting with an exclusive worksheet! Match the foreign name of each CBBC show to its English name!
3 Things I Can Do In Grandma's House Which I Can't Do In Golspie
Living at Grandma's house is better than living in a noisy dump known as Golspie so far, so let's review my top 3 things I can do in Grandma's house which I can't do back in the old house.
1.I can listen to music without headphones. Back in the old house, the neighbourhood was littered with noises like screaming kids, barking dogs and lawnmowers. Here, we can hear nothing but birds singing and planes letting off sonic booms. Now, with no noises to bother me here, I can listen to music without my headphones whilst I continue with my works in peace.
2.I can spend more time with my journals. Spending time with my journals is one thing that's sorely missed here at Golspie, mainly because of the noises that distract me. Here, I can spend time with my journals quite as often as I want! I'm glad I wrote down the events of Halloween week 2020 on CBBC in my Winnie The Pooh diary, but with these journals, much more depth is to be considered.
3.I can finally live in peace at last. Remember Mr. Bear in Jill Murphy's Peace At Last? Well, he spent the whole night trying to look for a quiet place to sleep. I spent all of 2019 and 2020 in a loud, noisy neighbourhood that wasn't good for my autism, but here, I feel free to do whatever I please - if I live by old-fashioned family house rules like in that DinoCity episode for a week.
When you've moved house, what is time there allowing you to do?
