Today's New Works

  • I.B.F.Fs: Adventures In Friendship Valley - I was inspired by such shows as Harry & His Bucketful Of Dinosaurs (pictured) and Kate & Mim Mim to do novel adventures with the I.B.F.Fs in a magical world similar to Dino World, Mimiloo, Dragon Land and more. Titles include:
  • The Silver Unicorn - In Friendship Valley, we follow a unicorn with a beautiful silver horn through Whispering Woods. In nine more adventures, we jump, run and fly in a rollicking and playful place in the valley, find a playground where we can slide down rainbows (and make them longer!) and find a magic shop with a book where we can create our own stories with our imaginations.
  • The Ancient Temple - We go on a quest to Vast Desert to find an ancient temple, and in nine more stories we pick flowers unaware we are being followed by a cloud of beautiful butterflies, cast shadows with a giant torch in the night when I'm too afraid to sleep in the dark and find the many places to play in Friendship Valley.
  • How To Spend Your Summer - We spend the best day of Summer in Friendship Valley, with water fights, lying in the shade of the tree and eating ice cream. Nine more adventures see us able to control the weather when it rains outside in the real world, have a tea party and spend a delightful Winter in Friendship Valley, complete with polar bears.

  • I.B.F.Fs: I Love You So Much - This gentle story sees me express my love for the I.B.F.Fs.

  • Marmalade Bear - A story about racism, told from the perspective of a little orange-furred bear.

Two New I.B.F.F Titles

  • I.B.F.Fs: The Bossy Unicorn - My plush unicorn starts to come to life and boss the I.B.F.Fs around, so we decide to teach her a lesson.
  • I.B.F.Fs: The Blanket - The I.B.F.Fs and I frolic around with a soft red blanket.

Griffin Village's Songs Remind Me Of CBBC So Much

Throughout late 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and early 2018, I realized I missed CBBC, and two songs from Griffin Village, 'Summer' and 'Winter' reminded me of the CBBC of last decade. If I could go back, I could see CBBC and CBeebies, then it would improve my life and hopefully get more inspiration for I.B.F.F Diaries.

Music Always Says Something To Me

Sometimes, music I listen to says something to me. Take Bluey, The Dumping Ground and CBBC, How To Train Your Dragon and Sesame Street and Sesame Workshop. Each piece of music reminds me dearly of something.
Bluey - Riptide & I'm Yours
These songs remind me of Bluey because it always brings Summer in on a cloudy and cold day. When you tune into Disney Junior, Bluey can bring you pure childhood Summer.
The Dumping Ground/CBBC - The Mission Soundtrack & Song From A Secret Garden
When I first heard the soundtrack for The Mission after seeing Mike's final episode as careworker at Ashdene Ridge, I thought the Dumping Ground had ended for good, so I imagined the music conjured up an image of Mike's ghost reminding Mitchell Tanner of the joy he and his friends brought to CBBC throughout 2013-2019, ala the famous Mufasa's ghost scene in The Lion King, before Tracy Beaker arrives and comforts Mitchell. Luckily today, the Dumping Ground wasn't ending yet, but now that May-Li has left the DG, the Dumping Ground will be set to change for the 2020's.

How To Train Your Dragon - Chapters
I was attached on both Dreamworks' How To Train Your Dragon franchise and the role the TV series played on CBBC last decade, so whilst watching How To Train Your Dragon: Homecoming and How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World on Sky One last Christmas, I realized that a piece of music from the Disney film 'Christopher Robin' reminded me of how much Hiccup has grown up over the years, the success of the original books and the franchise and a secret hidden scene in 'Homecoming' where Hiccup and his friends and their dragons celebrate Hiccup's birthday before he shares a heartfelt moment with Toothless.
Sesame Street & Sesame Workshop - Light The Night
I'm just reminded of Sesame Street's worldwide impact and all of Sesame Workshop's works, including Dragon Tales.

Three By The Sea

At last I've decided to turn Mini Grey's Three By The Sea into a stop-motion pilot script for Factory!

My New Works Of The Day

I was meant to do this once my head started filling up with new ideas each day, but whatever, I'll start it off today anyway.

  • I.B.F.Fs: Getting Muddy - The I.B.F.Fs and I enjoy playing in the mud.
  • Me, You, And...Journey To Hollow Falls - An original Me, You, And...adventure. When her aunt falls ill, Furaha rallies her friends to embark on a dangerously epic quest to Hollow Falls.
  • Sleepovers - I'm doing a script for Sleepovers, based on the book by Jacqueline Wilson and for King Bert Productions, creators of David Walliams' films.
  • Loon On The Moon - Another script I'm doing is for a Christmas special based on the children's book Loon On The Moon, which I'm going to send to Lupus Films, creators of Little Wolf's Big Book Of Badness and The Snowman & The Snowdog, plus the recent The Tiger Who Came To Tea.
