The QPS Routine + Big News!
Hi! Orko here! I've got some exciting news for you all out there: recently, my good friend Sophie's mum made a big, huge, enormous discovery themed around her love of stories. Y'know, the ones starring me, Furaha, Optimus and Baby Marvin - instead of forcing them and making her stressed, instead they are good for her mental health! Woohoo! I think mum has made the wrong discovery when she said stories are bad for her, when in fact stories are good for her! Now she's never going to leave me and my sister behind EVER AGAIN!
Now, due to a little blip that happened last evening, Sophie has thought up a new routine to help her. And I'll help you with that too!
Q: Quiet Place.
When you feel like you're going to panic, scream or shout, just go to a quiet part of the house or garden where you can count up to ten - or add things like hippos and rubber duckies if I were you - or take some deep breaths. When you're struggling with something like making dinner, instead of scream and yell at someone, ask them for help instead. It hurts their feelings when you scream and shout, and thus no one would want to talk to you when you're violent or angry. Try to think positively!
P: Productivity.
When you feel stressed and agitated, get up, go to the bathroom and do something productive like have a shower, wash your hands, brush your teeth or go to the toilet. You may even get a snack too - not that I'm saying you should have white bread for every meal.
S: Stories.
My sister and caretaker told me there are many things that get people through their mental health, but stories are the key to Sophie's wellbeing. Stories starring me, Furaha, Optimus Prime or any other well loved character for that matter are the reason why your mental health would get better every time you choose to do a different story every single day.
I mean, did you enjoy the time I got sick because of my breakfast combinations? You did? Well, there's going to be more Popcorn For Breakfast tomorrow, because tomorrow's story is all about escaping from a fierce, large tornado! You're probably saying to me, "Be careful, Orko." I will, don't worry! See you tomorrow morning!
