Thunderbirds Kaleidoscope

Ooooh, thunder-delic!

I never knew there was a Thunderbirds kaleidoscope. Never in all the world ever. But they just stripped off Lady Penelope, Parker and Fab-1 entirely, milady, and just made Thunderbird 2 the main star of the show here. It's like the aftermath of the TV broadcast of that DVLA advert focused on Thunderbirds, except that Lady Penelope immediately got arrested afterwards for cutting Parker's strings off.

This begs two questions in the mind of a Thunderbirds fan:

Do puppets go to jail or get executed for what they do to their own kind?

And...

What if Lady Penelope stays locked up forever....in a woman's prison, just like in Orange Is The New Black? What if she gets attacked and married by some puppet robbers? What if she follows in the footsteps of Parker?

I can't let that happen to her, I just can't! Let's all have justice for Lady Penelope and the strong sincerity she had on the world, for god's sake! For the pride of the Creighton-Wards, we want Penelope back!

My Little Pony Tickling Is Magic

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Ponies tickling!

I get a bit ticklish myself when it comes to Thunderbirds. When you're living with Lady Penelope, you just can't help but want to play with her. The DVD I'm watching now contains no trace of Lady Penelope or Parker at all, but I like to imagine what we get up to while the rest of International Rescue steals the show.

For 'The Uninvited', I like to imagine Lady Penelope and I taking a nice, relaxing bubble bath on a rainy, grey day in our quiet bathroom, while I admit: "I feel like a real princess." As for the other episodes, it's hard to tell since in the first episode, Tin Tin literally steals the show. That brunette prat has a best friend, you know that? She is a unicorn, she appears in this video and her name, is RARITY. I made Rarity and Tin Tin first 'meet' during when I asked my faithful companion Wysteria about which Supermarionation and My Little Pony characters would play the roles of characters in the first story in Chicken Soup For The Kids' Soul, 'Kelly The Flying Angel'. And thus, it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

The Hard Truth - A Review

I have to say, 'The Hard Truth' is actually a breather after the heart-puncher that is 'The Day I Turned Scarlett'. It's a calm, composed story of a writer named Catherine who gets her personal story published in the paper and refuses to share it with her relatives and friends due to embarrassment, but eventually after remembering what her editor and a woman who was going through the same experiences as her told her, she realised she has the courage to tell even the most embarrassing stories to her colleagues.

Now, compare a calm, composed story like The Hard Truth to a heart-punching story like The Day I Turned Scarlett. Imagine Scarlett is the fist that punches the wolf in Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie's game - once it punches you, you can't seem to get all this and other traumatising images out of your head. The wolf's wails of pain are you trying to get it out of your head whilst going by other things as normal, unaware something dark lurks inside you. Eventually, talking to a trusted friend or family member will let the darkness out of you, for you are the jail that holds every single memory you process. Once you let them out, they are free to roam and plague someone else. Then they tell their colleagues, and soon the darkness is released to plague another human jail.

This is a cycle of life that never ends. And it's all because of a story that punches your heart. Don't. Read. Them.

Dolphin Shore

Penelope and I lived wild and free

Just us two on an empty beach

The best thing we like to do together

Is swim with dolphins on sunny weather

We swim in the sea between coral reef

It comes to me that I can believe

A dolphin would swim towards anyway-

Wow, look, they're here! Hooray!

Penelope and I hitch a ride on one 'phin

I snuggle close to Penelope's skin

As we swim underwater, the ocean a sight

As through the water comes warm sunlight

We emerge through the water, laughing out loud

When two's company, with a dolphin, three's a crowd

We splash each other, squeaking and laughing away,

Until the sun sets on another beautiful day

Penelope and I lie quietly on the sand

As we fall asleep, hand in hand.

Little Rude Riding Hood

One day, Penelope sent me out

So I could go to Tracy Island and check out

Grandma Tracy, who isn't very well

So she filled a basket with rolls Mother Pengpride had selled

While I was on my way to the boat

Someone was waiting by the moat

It was Bandit the fierce wolf,

He wanted to gobble up the rolls and engulf

He said, "Hello, girl, what have you got there?"

"None of your business," I said with a glare,

Kicking him hard right in the nuts,

I said, "What's gotten into him? He's coconuts."

I took my boat and sailed away

Until I reached Tracy Island bay

I shared my rolls with everyone here

Even Grandma Tracy, a smile appeared

On every face, even Grandma

So to the wolf, I'd say, "Ta-ta!"

Marina Swims

Do you remember when Marina taught me to swim?

Here, I'll show you. Have a look in!

Penelope took me when I was 2

To the local swimming pool

We splashed about and had a laugh

The pool was like one big bath

I wanted to show her I could swim on my own

But what happened next will make you groan:

I started struggling, Penelope screamed for help

In the water I gave a pained yelp

It was then that Marina came to save the day

She leapt into the water and kept drowning at bay

She taught me to swim and keep my legs straight

While I let Penelope patiently wait

When the day was over Penelope said:

"Thank you, Marina, what's gotten into your head?"

Marina smiled and just turned away

I knew that I would see her again someday

When Furaha Was Born

Before Furaha was born to the world

Ua was pregnant, about to give birth

To a cute little cub she'd call her own

Flesh of her flesh, bone of her bone

She ate good food, fish, eggs and milk

She rested a lot under sheets of silk

The health worker gave her tablets to take

She took lots of checkups for her baby's sake

Orko was waiting, anxiously he'll see

That he'll be the big brother of the baby

Who's it to be? A girl or a boy?

Whoever it is, it's sure to bring joy

On the day Furaha was born

Ua was in hospital, and it was just before

She gave birth, and now, everyone,

Meet baby Furaha, child two of one

Orko was pleased to see his new friend

They promised they'd be together 'til the end

I Love You, Darling

Come along, darling, and sit on my knee

We're perfect together, just you and me

Now lie on my body and close your eyes

Relax on the recliner, just you and I

I love you, darling, you feel just right

Throughout the evening, I'll hold you tight

I'm your big sister, it's my role in these times

That's why I'm singing you this soothing rhyme

My crystal eyes gaze down on your sleepyhead

As everyone in the world prepares for bed

Don't listen to others, they've got better things to do

But we feel complete, just me and you

You may think I'm a rich and spoilt girl

But I'm not, I think the whole world

Off To The Movies

Today is an exciting day

And all my class are shouting “Hooray!”

You know why? I think I know

They’re going to the cinema to see a movie show

I have autism so I’m concerned

That noisy crowds would make my ears hurt

I hate going to places with lots of crowds

They’re impatient and rude and very loud

So my carer chose I’d stay behind

And we’d do some activities to occupy my mind

While everyone scrambles onto the bus

Only two people are left - just us

First thing’s first is some colouring pages

My Little Pony, hadn’t seen that in ages

Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Apple Bloom

Twilight Sparkle, Princess Luna and Scootaloo

My masterpieces done, I put them in my bag

So then it’s break time, the best fun I’ve ever had

My supporter reads me ‘All In One Peace’

The day may be over, but that’s the least!

Next is some baking in the home economics room

We put on aprons, wash our hands and soon

It’s eggs and flour and sugar and cocoa

Into the mixture they all go!

Pour it in a cake pan, wait for it to cook

What else is on the menu? Let’s take a look

Solving puzzles, computer games

Playing with small bears and toy trains

The timer goes off and we return to the room

The cake’s on a rack, now we wait for it to cool

Lunch time is here, so it’s the perfect chance

It makes me want to get up and dance

Cheese sandwiches and two thin Frubes

Tasty yogurty goodness in a tube

A piece of chocolate cake and a drink of Coke

Those items are yummy, it really is no joke!

Lunch break, so we watch some vids

On Youtube on the school computers they hid

Eddsworld with its impressive animation

Where Edd, Tom and Matt took a vacation

Back to lessons, back to the cake

We’re going to do the icing, it’s no mistake

The icing is gooey chocolatey mess

But making icing is what I like best!

Pour water in the mixture, mix it hard

Stir in the chocolate ‘til it’s reached a yard

And now we have icing, mmmm, so sweet

The cake is cool now and ready to eat.

We pour the icing atop the cake

We use some M&M’s to make a face

And there, viola! Our cake is complete

Supporter cuts two slices for us to eat

My class should be back but it’s a long time

But anyhow, it must be home time

I talk with Mum about my day

And show her the chocolate cake I made

I wave goodbye and set off for home

I think about all the fun times I know

Of my unforgettable day in school

Where my supporter and I just ruled

Captain Scarlet Bubble Bath

Imagine if you tried to cram a whole load of Spectrum agents (including Captain Scarlet and Captain Magenta) and Angels into your bath whilst you are enjoying the bubbles. This may be quite as similar to the bath scene in Fritz The Cat where Fritz does some nasty yet inappropriate things to his three girlfriends and everyone else joins in. This will not end well.

But look what I found! It's a vintage bottle of Captain Scarlet Bubble Bath. Which begs the question: do Spectrum agents take baths? Mmmmmmaaaaybe....but of course in the episode 'White As Snow', we see one man surrounded by water and drowning when the submarine begins to dive, only for the Mysterons to bring him ba-

"This is the voice of the Mysterons. We know you can hear us, kids. And we don't want to harm you this time. We want to know...WHO HAS STOLEN OUR BUBBLE BATH?!"

What was THAT?! Anyway, those Mysterons won't get their dirty paws on this rare piece of bath equipment. Scarlet will protect it!

Thunderbirds Bubble Bath

I found this last night before I missed the latest story in 'Inspiration For Writers', named 'The Hard Truth'.

This, is Thunderbirds Bubble Bath, aka a bath soakie. I mean, you can't take Lady Penelope and Parker into the bath with you yourself, because in Thunderbirds, Lady Penelope herself has never EVER been in water (she has in my stories though!). But this bath soakie, shaped like Thunderbird 2, is something you can really use to make bathtime this action packed. Just undo the red cap on Thunderbird 2's bottom and out of it comes...PEE!

Just kidding, it's actually bubble bath. Just like in that old Australian advert for Soakies I used to watch on Youtube, it becomes a toy when it's empty...if you clean out all the sticky bits first. There are other kinds of soakies in the past too, such as ones for Captain Scarlet, Edd The Duck, Noddy, Postman Pat, Fireman Sam, Pingu, the Teletubbies and so much more. I wish they did Soakies for other famous brands such as Kipper, Hey Duggee, Bluey, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Scream Street, Strange Hill High and...dare I say it....Angelina Ballerina.

Yes, Angelina needs to have a bit of respect sometimes. She may be a bratty ballerina, throwing things in her bedroom when she doesn't get her way, but still, we can always watch Kipper instead! ....Right?
