Movies That Make Me Think Of Tom & Jerry: The Movie

 

I think Oliver & Company and Lilo & Stitch both remind me of Tom & Jerry: The Movie. Oliver & Company was released a few years before Tom & Jerry was released in theatres, and then a few years later, Lilo & Stitch was released to theatres - all three stories contain and orphan who befriends an animal who helps them along on their journey. See for yourself!

If I Wrote She-Ra...

 

I wouldn't write 1985 She-Ra because she is more mature. But if I wrote modern day She-Ra, I would include all the dialogue in Japanese, and I would include more mature elements such as blood, murder, violence, entrails flowing out of peoples' bodies and most hopefully, She-Ra and Catra making out. Oh and also, I would include She-Ra carrying a gun so she can murder people with one pull of the trigger. グレイスカルの名誉のために...私はシーラです! BOOM! *collapsing sound*.

Bluey/The 'Hood #2 [Evening]

 

Public Humiliation:

Izzy and Templeton are having a bad day at school: while Izzy gets gum stuck in her hair and is picked on by Peter and Benjamin, Templeton is too late to make it to the toilets and wees on the floor. The two learn about being humiliated in public, and when Tuffnut and Peter throw tantrums in the supermarket, their curiosity gets the best of them.

Back To The Beginning:

This episode explores a typical day from each of the gang's perspective. Once each perspective ends, the episode rewinds back to the beginning to focus on another member of the gang as they spend their day at school and at home - just like any other Aussie kid, each with his or her own different view on life.

Dads Can Be Anyone:

Dad, Mike, Alston, Niles, Major, Uncle Stripe and Lucky's dad head out into the neighbourhood for a guys' night out, while Mum, Aunt Trixie, Sue, Bella and Mother have a girls' night in. The trouble is, the men keep switching identities! It is then that they discover that being themselves can mean they can be the best dads ever.

But Wait A Minute - What About Adam & Eve?

 

I never knew Adam & Eve were aimed for little kids! They tried in various ways to appeal Adam & Eve to kids, and I'll try too - but with animated nudity. Family Guy and The Simpsons tried to tell the story of Adam & Eve, sometimes through its main husband and wife characters like Homer and Marge, and Bobby McFerrin's The Garden retells the Adam & Eve story through acapella music. My script for I.B.F.Fs In Eden retells the creation story with me and my I.B.F.Fs, with Kipper being a puppy and Templeton being the first person on earth to wear clothes. It'll contain this phrase:

"But wait a minute - what about Adam & Eve?"

"FALSE! Adam & Eve weren't the main characters of the creation story, we were."

And a Me, You, And...short named 'Creation' will feature Kiburi and Ua as cubs, in a dramatic retelling of Adam & Eve's tale, with the two lions wandering a paradise that came to form the earth, created by Lord Mufasa and despised by a vicious serpent.

Chloe sets up a secret club in her backyard, while Goten, Trunks and Boruto set up their own secret club for the bravest and the most adventurous next door. When both clubs go to war with one another, Izzy must use the power of Shama Lama once again to make both clubs live in peace and order.

Bluey Breaks The Rules:

Bluey is addicted to a new game on her tablet and is too busy tapping away to play actual games with her friends. Soon, she realizes what she has done and, with encouragement from her mum, realizes who she was.

Bluey/The 'Hood #1 [Morning]

 

Watch Out For Goblins:

The gang hear Noddy telling Big Ears about how he's dealt with goblins before, so they lure him into the creek and plan with the residents of the place, dressing up as goblins for Noddy to fight. It's here that they learn an important lesson about trickery.

Lazy Morning:

The gang go to the park early in the morning to watch the sun come up and basically do nothing. It turns out to be lazy enough as it is...until they all want to play on the equipment.

Drama:

Done entirely in black and white, a lot of drama happens in the neighbourhood, from Chloe coming round to play with the gang to a confession made at Odd Squad headquarters to Gluko and Lennon spending time apart, but then realizing how much they miss each other.

Daydreaming In Me, You, And Transformers Cybertron

 

The song 'Daydreaming' by Joe Campbell features in Me, You, And Transformers Cybertron, during the events of the episode 'Honor' after we see Furaha and Jetfire have a bath and roll about in a field of daisies. The sequence is inspired by the Guess How Much I Love You theme song, and features the cubs and Autobots playing through Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring in a charming, enchanting and whimsical way.
