I'm afraid to say that I have edited all the drug references out of Camping: An I.B.F.Fs Friendship Tale to make it more suitable for kids when published. I've changed the magic mushrooms to magic foxgloves to avoid controversy with publishers for including drug references in a children's book, just like how they included the same material for The Magic Roundabout in the '70s. One Line A Day - 2021 - 18.5.21
It was worth the wait, but the surprise came. It was a stack of girls' books featuring relatable cringe-worthy issues.
Express Yourself - 18.5.21
My surprise came today as did my Q&A A Day book - these books are full of relatable girl experiences.
Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Journal - 18.5.21
Today was a big, long wait for my surprise. I waited so long and so hard that I immediately fell tired and took a nap, but I got up just in time to see Bluey.
Later, the surprise came, as did my Q&A A Day book - it was a whole stack of books for girls! Those include a few American Girl Smart Girls' Guide books, The Embarrassing Life Of Lottie Brooks, Worst Holiday Ever and a few others. These books are a result of my clumsy, mixed up attitude and will help me be the girl, woman and author the world wants me to be.
Q&A A Day For Kids - 2021 - 18.4.21
I hate it when CBBC takes Scream Street away. The same goes to Cream the rabbit, who hates when her own shows get cancelled.
Camping: An I.B.F.Fs Friendship Tale - A Heartwarming Conclusion...
Tissues on standby - Camping reaches an epic conclusion with a realization that Oscar and Hedgehog are up to something to get Luke onto their side...but what for?
Okay, Now You're Really Into Bitesize - Home From Rome Italian Spaghetti & Postcards
Watch Home From Rome on iPlayer, then write your own postcards talking about your own holiday in Italy. If you've been in Italy before, describe your holiday experiences on the postcard templates. After you've done that, make your own Italian spaghetti, complete with lavishing tomato sauce!
50 Years Of The Mr Men
Last night, just after I saw Hardball, I watched a new Channel 4 documentary which celebrated 50 years of the Mr Men and Little Misses. I understand that they were loved by generations of children, including me obviously. The Mr Men have helped me along with Kipper through my early days of childhood. At the time, I didn't even know the Mr Men aired on Milkshake until now!
I still remember I used to have a Mr. Mischief and Little Miss Naughty painting apron, and when I started school I used to have a Mr. Bump ice pack for when I got hurt. They still do Mr Men icepacks today.
What's your favourite Mr Men memory, or, Mr Men-mory?
