I.B.F.Fs - The Balloon
I've just finished the third story in the book, 'The Balloon', and now I've moved onto the fourth and final story which I'll hopefully do tomorrow, 'Robots, Milk & Cookies'. What starts off as a day in the park that follows a day at the circus turns into an act of kindness that gets printed in the newspapers!
White Chocolate Chicken Hotpot
In a dream I had, Scooby Doo and I were wandering a giant table full of food, somewhere in a giant's castle. Scooby discovered a giant red stew pot and went to investigate, only to investigate a giant's favourite dessert - white chocolate chicken hotpot! Unfortunately, Scooby fell in, and just as I was about to rescue him, he ate the whole lot up!

I.B.F.Fs In: Bin Night: Bluey & Bingo's Story
Bin Night: Bluey & Bingo's Story is narrated by Bandit, Bluey and Bingo's dad (if there were an audiobook of this, Dave McCormack would narrate) and begins at Bluey's karate class, where Bluey, Mackenzie and Chloe are excited about getting their yellow belts during the exam. We are introduced to new girl Pippa, who just happens to be Bluey's karate teacher's daughter. She attends the same school as Bluey and is learning Japanese.
It's also revealed that Mackenzie once got food poisoning and had to stay off school for a week, while every night he and his family eat cauliflower cheese for dinner.
I'll be doing more of this story soon!
Scream Street Bites - Cloudgazing
ME: We would've gotten away with being eaten by that haunted house?
LUKE: Yeah, just like old times.
ME: We're safe now. Say, how much breakfast did you eat this morning?
LUKE: Lots.
RESUS: I had to avoid blood.
CLEO: Always healthy.
ME: Good, good.
[Silence for a moment. Then:]
ME: Look at those clouds. They form delicate shapes, you should like them. Like that one up there, this one's of Otto in the bathtub.
[Resus & Cleo laugh]
LUKE: This isn't delicate. Check out this one of a werewolf holding a love heart.
ME: Aaaawww, that's so sweet.
LUKE: Only the best to impress you, my darling.
ME: What do you think that cloud up there looks like, Cleo?
CLEO: Hmmmm...maybe just a locust learning to write.
ME: [giggles] My god, Cleo! How about you, Resus?
RESUS: I don't see anything. Wait a minute...what's that dark shadow?
ME: That's a storm cloud, and I think it's going to...
ALL FOUR OF US: RAIN!!!!
ME: Quick! Under that tree!
ME: Well, at least we're safe from the rain now.
[Dig enters and shelters under the tree with us]
ME: Nice to have you with us, half-doggy dude.
CLEO: Half doggy dude? Where the hell did you get that from?
ME: Doug.
CLEO: Oh yeah. Well, suit yourself. We enjoy it out there in nature.

I'm looking forward to spending half-term never growing up with my I.B.F.Fs! We ride our bikes across the park, have a barbeque at Bluey's house with Uncle Stripe, Aunt Trixie, Muffin and Socks, practise yo-yo tricks, give Dig a bath and pet my wooden toy kangaroo, Boing.
Circus Buddies:
Simon, Gaspard, Bluey, Mackenzie, Honey, Chloe and I are playing at being in a circus. We have so much fun, we don't realize our parents are coming to watch.
Fast Friends:
Simon, Lou, Love Monster and I have a race across the beach, but I feel so much freedom that I don't realize who wins!
