Mimi's Raps - Written In The Stars

The Dumping Ground Stage Performers

The Dumping Ground Stage Performers are here! They like to put on plays for Scott and May-Li, and tonight they're staging a special series of Halloween stories just for the viewers. If you're watching the episode at home and are inspired to make your own stage play, take some Halloween writing prompts and turn them into play scripts, then make a playbill and stage your very own Halloween play (for younger fans of The Dumping Ground)!

This Isn't The First DG Halloween Episode....

I just want to let you know that 'Truth Or Scare' isn't the only Dumping Ground episode themed around Halloween. Here's The Phantom Of Ashdene Ridge - I warn you it doesn't contain the usual dangerous animated sequences, but it's worth a spooky watch:

When I Have A Bath & I Pretend My Scream Street Friends Are In The Tub With Me...

Videos I Saw At Grandma's Today/Thankful For Blue Peter - 4 Months Later

Due to the little incident that happened this morning, I had to do a random selection of videos. It's just a one-off, so don't worry.

"I've thought up a new short - I.B.F.Fs In The Bath. It shows each of the I.B.F.Fs playing and splashing in the bath with me, although Cleo always wears her bandages in the bath."
I have an exciting announcement to make! 4 months after I wrote Lindsey a letter telling her how thankful I was to have Blue Peter in my life during the Six Badges Of Summer campaign, and one day after Rory came into the show to show us how to make doggy treats for Henry and there was a clip from Scream Street on the show...I got a letter back from the Blue Peter gang stating that they've been up to a lot over the Summer, and I even got an autographed picture of new presenter Adam! And Adam isn't my boyfriend, Luke is, I'm not going to confess it. Still, was it because I was thankful? I learnt to be this way! I'm the most awesome girl in the whole world!

Spending Summer In Autumn Be Like....

Halloween Challenges!

So, CBBC, you think you can get away with your own stupid challenges just so you can get whatever you fancy this Halloween? Well, I'm fighting back with my own excitement! Each day next week it follows a basic formula: first, for Scream Street, I'll do a comedy skit called a 'Scream Street Bite' which features me and my friends from Scream Street in fun and hilarious antics. Later, when Heirs Of The Night airs, I'll bring you a performance from the vampire school's goth band, which only performs when the full moon rises, releasing them from their stone entombment.

Just you wait, CBBC, I'll get you this Halloween, and hopefully I'll give Luke, Resus and Cleo the best week of their lives until they leave for the moment...if they ever come back....

The 'Hood: Mum & Dad Have A Great Big Fight Teaser

Izzy and Resus are visiting Bluey's Nanna, but as they settle down, Resus feels depressed because he had witnessed his parents arguing the day before. He worries his parents will continue fighting to the point of them getting a divorce, but Izzy and Nanna reassure him that sometimes parents argue but, after a major disagreement, they'll always find a way to make it up in the end. In all this, Nanna helps Izzy and Resus make a giant collage to show Resus' parents that they still love each other despite their constant arguing.

Find out what to do if your parents get in a fight, then make a collage picture of your own while you're waiting:

The 'Hood: Mum & Dad Have A Great Big Fight. Coming November 3rd!

The 'Hood Ep.24 - Lazy Morning

The gang head to the park to wait for the sunrise and enjoy breakfast together...but as soon as Bingo goes on the monkey bars, everyone wants to go on the playground equipment!

Look out for new The 'Hood episodes starting next week!

If you want to join in on the fun every morning with your children, check out this guide from the National Trust about getting up for the sunrise - don't forget to bring some breakfast sandwiches with you to eat while you watch this momentous event!

The Simpsons Movie - Cairngorm Mountains

ANNOUNCER: Are you tired of the same old Cairngorm Mountains?
DAD: Here we are, kids, the Cairngorm Mountains.
GIRL: They're so old and boring. I want new ones - NOW!
TOM HANKS: Hello! I'm Tom Hanks. The Scottish government has lost its credibility so it's borrowing some of mine!
BOY: Make my hair sparkle, Mr. Hanks!
TOM HANKS: Sure thing, son. Ha-ha-ha! Now, I'm pleased to tell you all about the new Cairngorm Mountains. Coming this weekend - it's east of Shelbyville and south of Capital City. It's nowhere near where anywhere is or ever was. This is Tom Hanks saying if you're going to pick a government to trust, why not this one?
