Here are some points of I.B.F.Fs: The Eagle's Nest I thought up.
At the end of the book, it's all revealed to be an imaginary adventure Luke, Resus, Cleo and I have whilst in the bath or in bed, as I dive into a lake to join my three friends and the next moment, we emerge from the bath back home, quite as similar as to the end of a French Cajoline commercial where the bear dives off a cloud and into a pool of spring water, only to emerge in a bath.
In the chapter 'The Rocks', there is an illustration of a close-up of Cleo's hand, with water dripping from it. I also describe the experience of being in the eagle's warm nest as 'even better than being in bed'.
Two chapters of the book feature us worrying about how we're different from other animals in the jungle we were raised in. One chapter sees me staring at my reflection in a jungle pool, until my eagle friend comes and comforts me. Another chapter sees me doing the same, but this time with Luke, Resus and Cleo by my side and when it rains, we seek shelter in a cave, where we fall fast asleep side by side.
