Transformers: The Animated Review

Transformers Animated - The Arrival #1Transformers Animated - The Arrival #1 by Marty Isenberg
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Totally cool and awesome comic. Having seen the Transformers Animated series on Nicktoons as a kid, I was desperate to pick this up. I only had to make a few stops to read it because reading it in the car makes me sick! My favourite part of the comic was Bulkhead's page, specially the bit where he looks at modern art at an art gallery.

Would highly recommend if Bayformers is too much for introverted Transformers fans.

Tired Ninja: A Review

Tired Ninja: A Children's Book About How Being Tired Affects Your Mood, Focus and Behavior (Ninja Life Hacks 87)Tired Ninja: A Children's Book About How Being Tired Affects Your Mood, Focus and Behavior by Mary Nhin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I got this book when I felt sick.
It gave some useful tips for when I feel tired due to sickness, with the 4 E's, as explained by our main hero himself. My favourite tip is brain dumping and doing to do lists in a journal.

Lo & Behold Mouse & Mole: A Review

Mouse & Mole: Lo and BeholdMouse & Mole: Lo and Behold by Joyce Dunbar
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

So cosy.
I think the world needs more Mouse & Mole more than they are ever reading any other cosy novel - quite simple really, and perfect for reading to overstimulated kids.

Totally recommend.

Mouse & Mole Have A Review

Mouse and Mole Have a PartyMouse and Mole Have a Party by Joyce Dunbar
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Like Lo & Behold, Mouse & Mole's Party is a very cosy read - no sudden surprises or loud noises, just lessons on handling depression, aging and least expecting things in a way everyone can understand, not just kids, but grown ups too.

Totally recommend.

Terror Time Toys: A Review

Grizzly Tales: Terror-Time Toys: Cautionary Tales for Lovers of Squeam!Grizzly Tales: Terror-Time Toys: Cautionary Tales for Lovers of Squeam! by Jamie Rix
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Terror Time Toys is more than just a horror anthology for kids. It's a sinisterly clever series of fables about greed, gluttony, domestic abuse and tech addiction that would get kids to change their ways...or else! The bits shoved in by the narrator (Uncle Grizzly) are annoying though, but a good read.
