Grandparents' Interview Questions
My grandma may not know much because she has dementia, but for your grandparents there are plenty of interview questions to ask them! It's not grandparents day, but these questions are probably best suited for a video call or your next visit.
I.B.F.Fs At Grandma's House
Luna, Sophie, Zura and Fang love visiting their grandma's house, because there's biscuits, cakes and fairytales all around. One day, on the eve of a sleepover, Fang refuses to go because there is a party in the neighbourhood, and all the local kids are coming along. Sophie tries to teach him about how important Grandma is to him and the whole family.
Waitivity - The Baby Club
The Toddler Club premiered this week, and if there's one suitable thing to accompany this new series, it's the original and best Baby Club. Join in at home as parents, carers and their babies explore everyday objects through discovery, play, song and story.
Birthday Book Bash - Pinkalicious Activity Ideas
It's not a read-along, but I found this selection of Pinkalicious related activities! I know, Pinkalicious & Peteriffic doesn't air in the UK, but there are loads and loads of fun Pinkalicious activities out there. Keep your eyes open!
Healthy Carrot Pancakes With Yogurt
If there's one thing Little Giraffe likes for breakfast more than toast and jam, it's freshly cooked pancakes with strawberries, bacon and sometimes maple syrup! There's a healthier option - carrot pancakes with yogurt to match! Make these with your little giraffes - you'll be glad they had a healthy breakfast.
Cloudland Update - 7.4.22
After a day-long, (almost) stress free break, I'm back onto Cloudland! Today's story is all about a little giraffe who prepares breakfast all by herself, then plays at running her own breakfast cafe. It's a sweet, charming story, much like the other stories in the book. I'm reusing the illustration I originally made for my full-length book, so there's no need to do them today. By the way, starting this weekend I'm doing the activities next, because weekends are best for doing activities. The four activities featured in the book incorporate the themes of mindfulness, perseverance and listening. See you then!
