They're Coming...
The deleted blog entries never made or thought up during school years are coming straight at you tomorrow...
Watch Out, Clifford!
Sam is very concerned because his friend, Clifford The Big Red Dog, thinks he has caused too much trouble. He recently had a discussion with him and his friends Franklin, Little Bear, Rupert and Scooby-Doo, and he says that you mustn't trust what you see online. Some things are fake. However, these Clifford spoof books are good for a laugh.
He Will Be There, But Not Them...
Shaun the Sheep is returning to CBBC in two weeks with a brand new Christmas special. We will be there to see it, but the residents of Scream Street won't. Series 2 has spoilt Christmas for them, and we all love Shaun...right?
I get it, you're all crying now.
Shaun once learned the lesson that everyone shouldn't be alone on Christmas, not even the grouchy Farmer, because he's got his family and friends. As Lilo once said, "Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind...or forgotten." Learn the lesson again with Shaun and once again watch the welcoming Scream Street episode The Grumpus in case you leave them behind on iPlayer:
Bedroom - Sharing (For Mary & Kate)
To celebrate Gotta Be Done coming back with a review of the Season 3 premiere 'Bedroom', I'm going all out on explaining how to make your bedroom - or your child's bedroom - smell of Bluey and Bingo! For Bluey, you could use a lavender and lemon spray to make your room smell of yellow bone bedcovers and red watermelon rugs. For Bingo, you could use a strawberry spray to ignite the scent of Floppy and millions of stuffed animals crammed in her new room. There are lots of other spray ideas you can use to make your room smell of various Bluey characters, for example blueberry for Muffin (get the pun?), vanilla for Lucky, apple for Honey etc.. or you could use cologne on yourself to smell of characters like Dad and Lucky's Dad. You can make lemon cologne to suit Bluey, or strawberry cologne/perfume to suit Bingo. Remember, it's always best to judge a Bluey character by how they smell, except for ones with stinky feet and armpits like Bandit!

ScreamBlue Challenge Day 14 - Lost Looks & Driving
We're taking a ride and enjoying the beach today, but since the weather is cold outside, there's a great heap of suggestions for recreating a ride to the beach and the experiences that follow. Start off with something crafty, as this painted hearts craft using toy cars. Once you've given them a bath - or car wash if you prefer - make a race car track so you can get your cars to the beach on time. Next, it's beach time! Start off by playing with shaving cream and shells, followed by a little splash in the sea with these beautiful underwater I Spy jars. Once you've done all that, work off a hard day of play with a beach picnic, making a Neapolitan ice cream followed by a caprese sandwich - you can remove the herby bits to ensure your kids have a great beach picnic experience.
Watch Lost Looks on iPlayer and Driving on ABC iView (watch Lost Looks on iView too if you live in Australia).
Camping: An I.B.F.Fs Friendship Tale - Achievement
In today's story, Luke, Resus, Cleo and I go camping near the beach. I've only gotten up to the bit where they go onto the beach and have fun, and while you wait, you and your kids can re-enact out what's to come. First, you can make a blanket fort, or your own homemade tent or tepee, to live beside the beach in. While you can't go to the real beach at the moment due to the cold weather, you can make your own beach small world to play in using sand, shells and water. I'm thinking that sometime in the story, Luke, Resus, Cleo and I play our favourite beach game, 'Sand Zombie', so in addition to playing that using a few blankets, pillows and open spaces, there are heaps of other zombie-themed games for your kids to play even though Halloween has passed. Instead of being 'it' for these games, you can either call yourself 'Doug' or 'Davina' after his girlfriend in the episode 'The Zombie Body Shop', which you can watch on iPlayer. Once you've played all these games, it's time to play in the sea! Obviously, you can't go to the real sea because of the cold weather, so create this lovely ocean themed sensory bin - you can dip your toes or hands into it, no biggie. All these games could make you work up an appetite, so this calls for a beach picnic. There are loads of healthy recipes to help you get started - there are those cute mini sandwich kebabs, a kid-friendly salad, those colourful fruit juice-flavoured ice pops and this creamy orange strawberry juice. Wind down after a long day of play by settling down in your blanket fort and reading a selection of childrens' books about camping. Curious George Goes Camping and Maisy Goes Camping are my personal favourites.

Camping: An I.B.F.Fs Friendship Tale - The Beach
Pressure is holding me back from this project, but sometime another day, I won't let it!
Luke, Resus, Cleo, Dig, Lulu and I are ready to go to the beach! We fool around with suncream and make suncream moustaches, then, when Cleo is sunbathing, I use a nearby giant palm leaf to unexpectedly tickle her.
I will continue the beach scene soon, I promise!
