I've Had A Natural Kind Of Day!

Well! I'm into nature all day! Here's what I experienced so far:
  • The premiere of new episodes of Bluey, named 'Grandad' or 'When Nature Calls' about Bluey and Bingo and their grandad going deep into the bush to be at one with nature like in 'The Creek', or 'Soothing Naturals'.
  • A new idea, I.B.F.Fs: Forest Friends, a gentle and soothing story about me and my friends the I.B.F.Fs living life as a boundary-less tribe navigating friendship, love and comfort in the softness of nature.
  • And this:

Scream Street Noises

You know the CBBC Spooky Sounds challenge? Well, I've made my own noises: brand new Scream Street noises! Some soft, some excited. Do you want to say them with me? Okay, say them aloud and then you're truly excited for new episodes of Scream Street:
  • "Wheee! Yeah! Wheeee!!"
  • "Wheee! Yeah! Eee-he-heee!!"
  • "Wahey! Woohoo! Yeah! Wahey!"
  • "Woohoooooo!!! Hey! Woo-hoo-hoo! Yeah-he-hey! Woohoo yeah heh-hey!!"
  • "Wheeee! Yeah-heh-heh, yeah! Woo! Wheeee!! Yeah-heh-heh!"
  • "Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo, woo-hoo-hoo-hoo, wee-he-he-he-heeeee!!"
  • "He-he, woohoo, 'aaaaaaayyy!! La-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la! Wheeeeee, he-he-he-he-he-he!! Missed!!"
  • "Mmmmmmmmmm..."
  • "Aaaaaaaahhh..."
Now try saying these words:
NOW are you excited?!?! I am!

Teri Yaadein

I've finally decided to do a story about animals and humans at war I've wanted to do for so long - Teri Yaadein, an Indian folk tale. You see, I was watching Eden one day and suddenly this advert came on for Deus Ex Human Revolution, which showed images representing human reproduction and species advancement, and while I was watching Ganges I figured, "Hey, I should do an original story about animals and humans at war." So here it is!

The film tells of a long-ago war between animals and humans, which live apart in the village and in the rainforest. The film tells the story of a young tiger cub named Baagh, whose father, the leader of the animals named Shaktimaan, refuses to let him go near any humans, including a young girl named Sharli who saves his life after a circus dealer tries to sell him. With the help of his friends Tota the parrot and Kachhua the tortoise, he seeks the help of an old witch doctor far in the forest, who transforms him into a human boy to help him reunite with Sharli. Now the two must stop the war and bring peace to animals and humans before it's too late.

The film is animated by Warner Bros Television Animation and features a score of traditional Indian music by Susheela Raman. Then until then, Saubhaagy! (Good luck!).

The 'Hood: When Nature Calls/I.B.F.Fs: Forest Friends

That day is here! And ABC Kids is airing new episodes of Bluey over in Australia, starting with 'Grandad', or 'When Nature Calls' as I call it. I won't be doing the episode today because I'm taking time off Saturdays and Sundays, but I'll bring you the gang and Snickers' island adventures sometime soon.

In other news, last night I got so obsessed by the human evolution-related episodes of Walking With Beasts and Walking With Cavemen (anyone thinking about Flat Pack, or Walking With Bluey?), that all of a sudden this idea for a new I.B.F.Fs TV film popped into my head: I.B.F.Fs: Forest Friends. Inspired by various human evolution documentaries such as Walking With Cavemen and CuriosityStream's 'First Man', Channel 5's children's dramas 'The Tribe' and 'The New Tomorrow' and Where The Wild Things Are, this film tells our imaginative adventures as a tribe of kids who live without rules or boundaries in the forest, playing and learning to survive and live with one another amongst the comfort, friendship, love and softness of nature. It'll be just like The Eagle's Nest, except my imaginative younger self is narrating, all of us are involved and the music is provided by rainforest band Baka Beyond. I'll be doing it someday, so keep your wild hearts and eyes out for it!

While you're waiting, you can enjoy some soothing nature-themed activities to get you back to the source, because I love nature as much as you:

The 'Hood: Strings Attached Teaser

Izzy, Muffin and Socks have come to play at Izzy's cousins' house. They decide to stage a pretend fashion show, but Gabi gets attached to the pink feather boa and wants to play at snake wrestling! So does Socks, but Uncle Stripe explains to the kids that if they combine their two games together, they can make it more fun.
