Me, You, And Digimon Adventure 02 Tales

I've thought up a new Me, You, And...Tales anthology book themed around Digimon Adventure 02. It'll be the same as Me, You, And Digimon Adventure Tales, and inspired by bits of Digimon Adventure Tri - Furaha and her Digimon friends Veemon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, Patamon and Gatomon exploring the city in and out and hiding whenever people notice their presence. They count trains at the train station, relax by the river, play around a pirate ship in a playground and get lost in the Arctic.

Lucky Australia. This week, they aired Scream Street and Strange Hill High on ABCMe...we're not so lucky. We lost Strange Hill High, and I don't want to lose Scream Street!

Pop Cakes/R.I.P Strange Hill High

I was in a Magic Faraway Tree mood today, which set me up for a good day with Libby. Not only did I read the Magic Faraway Tree book in the ASDA car park, but at Libby's house I had a hearty lunch, hang out with her rascal of a dog Jake and baked pop cakes and a chocolate cake! And, thank god I avoided Boy Girl Dog Cat Mouse Cheese and Little Big Awesome today, I had the telly on the whole time and I got right up to The Deep! So close yet so far.

When I got back, I was greeted with a letter from CBBC themselves. They absolutely loved my I.B.F.F story 'Festive Pyjamas'! Look, even though I ripped off If You Give A Mouse A Christmas Cookie, ripoffs of TV series episodes with good writing deserve a lot of love, especially from TV broadcasters.

Speaking of CBBC, there's something I forgot to do last month. Strange Hill High is my favourite CBBC show besides Scream Street, so until Scream Street comes back in late 2020, we have Strange Hill High to grieve over.

Strange Hill High

2013-2019

You provided a great decade for CBBC and protected us along with Scream Street from the worst shows on the channel, like Diddy TV, OOglies or Just Kidding. Mitchell, Becky and Templeton will forever be remembered as the ones who greeted me when I first moved up to Scotland, and if I spent more time with them, I would've enjoyed more of CBBC and CBeebies, too...but sadly I never got that chance. The chance came to me a few years ago when I saw Scream Street whilst viewing Katy, and now my pleasures of the 2010's belong to CBBC. In fact, I think during the 2010's, both CBBC and CBeebies would become fandoms, just like My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic had bronies. When Mike Milligan left The Dumping Ground last year, Mitchell knew it was his time to leave. I imagine Luke, Resus and Cleo would meet up with Mitchell, Becky and Templeton again one day if they ever have the chance to meet up after their shows have been gone for good. We will miss Strange Hill High as much as we miss the decade that historically made CBBC what it was today. Mitchell, Becky and Templeton may be gone, but they will forever live on in our hearts. We will miss them dearly, one and all.
