My Thoughts On Last Year's Scooby Doo Film, Curse Of The 13th Ghost

Last year's Scooby Doo 50th anniversary film, Curse Of The 13th Ghost, gave us fond memories of the classic Scooby Doo show The 13 Ghosts Of Scooby Doo. Oh all the Scooby mysteries I should've seen in the last few years - fans got to draw pictures of Scooby having a big birthday cake with Shaggy!
To me, the original 13 Ghosts Of Scooby Doo series is like a 1980's version of the old American PBS series Ghostwriter. I love comparing Boomerang series to other movies and TV series, and this 13 Ghosts Of Scooby Doo thing, which I may or may not have watched as a kid on Boomerang in the 2000's, is one of them.
Just like Scooby Doo, Ghostwriter aired on the BBC as part of its children's strand - yep, CBBC knows what to do when they add PBS shows for older children onto the channel or strand to appeal to younger viewers, such as Odd Squad and Arthur.

WHUT?! AGAIN!!

Stop that noise! We've seen Tom & Jerry: Spy Quest thousands of times on Boomerang, and it's getting old. Now that we've seen Scooby Doo In Where's My Mummy this morning, which greatly reminds us of Cleo and The Prince Of Egypt, we are glad Scooby Doo: Mask Of The Blue Falcon is airing next Tuesday, but can't we just watch Tom & Jerry: The Lost Dragon instead?

Oh No! Bluey's In Trouble!

First of all, I'd like to announce that I now have two alternate names for the Bluey episode 'Flat Pack': Walking With Bluey and The Lesser Known But Equally Important Ages Of Man. Second, I have some very bad news: two Bluey episodes have been removed from ABC! Oh no! They are Teasing, AKA Flashbacks, and Flat Pack, AKA Walking With Bluey AKA The Lesser Known But Equally Important Ages Of Man. Well, ABC? Children have the right to play and look at family photos! These episodes are representations of looking back at a fun day and playing at evolution and these episodes are the only hope of stimulating a toddler's sense of making fun of dad or learning about natural history. I'm glad you edited them, so they don't be racist dawgs. Read the news article here:

All I'm Saying Is That Cows Get Chopped To Bits & Made Into Meat...

Whilst watching Sesame Street: The Magical Wand Chase on Tiny Pop at Grandma's, I happened to notice four new shows arriving on the channel next month. They include Rev & Roll, Pony Life and two new short series from Sesame Street: Cookie Crumby Pictures and Super Grover 2.0.

I have something to confess about each of these shows. Rev & Roll is a bit like Blaze & The Monster Machines, except it isn't made by Nick Jr and is instead made by WildBrain. Pony Life has traits similar to Hey Duggee and Yakka Dee, but it isn't as good as Friendship Is Magic. I might like to give Cookie Crumby Pictures and Super Grover 2.0 a try, as Tiny Pop is now the home of shows from Sesame Workshop. And Cookie Crumby Pictures isn't the only show on the channel to star Cookie Monster - let's not forget Cookie Monster's Foodie Truck. I've seen Elmo's Wonderful World and Esme & Roy (my favourite Tiny Pop show), but I especially love Esme & Roy. I should give it a try - and I did! I also love Transformers Rescue Bots Academy too - just sayin'.

Scooby Doo: The Dog Prince Of Egypt

Today's Boomerang morning movie, Scooby Doo In Where's My Mummy, reminds me of The Prince Of Egypt, a Dreamworks film telling the story of Moses and the saying of 'Let My People Go'! If I watched it when I was younger, I really wanted Scooby Doo to become related to a dog prince who ruled over Egypt a long time ago...but instead, now this film reminds me of Cleo from Scream Street. She's not there with Luke and Resus this weekend, just the Stupid Six, but luckily we'll get to see the fab three next Monday-Friday! In I.B.F.F Diaries '15-Part 10: Best Halloween Ever, on 20/10/15, Cleo leads the other I.B.F.Fs, Scooby, Shaggy, Naomi, Daphne, Fred, Velma, Jake, Sam, Felix and Andy through a magic Egyptian door to a desert, where they discover the largest water hole they could ever find. They also find...a sofa. Just...a sofa. Suddenly, the water hole overflows, causing a flood in the desert - A MASSIVE ONE! Everyone scrambles onto the sofa and is in for the ride of their lives, encountering desert-dwelling versions of favourite CBBC characters before coming face to face with a waterfall and a massive...WHIRLPOOL! The whirlpool drags them down under the water, and they all fall unconcious, only to wake up back in the lounge at CBBC again. Isn't that always the way to imagine a desert adventure on that day?

My Pens Will Leave Markings Like Aboriginal & Cave People Do...

What I write or draw with my gel pens seems like Aboriginal and cave art to me, ones they do on rocks or cave walls. They will always be like cave paintings, even in my diary and on things that I usually throw away. Are your favourite pens like cave painting tools to you?
