Express Yourself - 23.10.21
Right now, I have an idea for a version of Autistica, named Autistica: Mindfulness, featuring soft stories about nature.
Spook Yourself Silly...Or, Unwind & Relax
Now containing a pumpkin volcano experiment with Dr. F, and lots of food-themed jokes that you can turn into comics at home. Before you do that, breathe in, take a chill pill and do something any Scream Street resident would do, including my friends Luke, Resus and Cleo...relax.
For the jokes, learn to draw your own comic here:
Signs Of The New I.B.F.F Diaries '21...
In my new idea for I.B.F.F Diaries '21, Luke, Resus, Cleo, Dig, Lulu and I love nature and live a mindful life in a little house, until we are kidnapped by scientists and taken to a lab, where I am injected with fluid that turns me into a werewolf whenever I feel a negative emotion. Luke, Resus and Cleo hear of a prophecy that only love, happiness and joy can get rid of my werewolf gene, and, escaping into nature, we go on a beautiful, mindful journey to find my inner peace and happiness. These videos will demonstrate what the story will be all about.
Coolabi, You're Wrong
No thanks, Coolabi. This year's Scream Street campaign should be 'Unwind & Relax'.
10 Scream Street Episodes To Watch When You're Depressed
Depression can affect many people, but Scream Street can't. It's a calming place to go to when you're feeling worried or need to relax and cuddle up to the joys of life. These ten Scream Street episodes are what you need to watch when you feel upset, nervous or worried.
10.The Curse Of Eternal Youth. Cleo's 'Deathday' is celebrated in this episode, and seeing everyone in the street at Cleo's pyramid means soon, other characters like Luella would visit. For her Deathday, she is given the Book Of The Dead by her dad (cue a gentle cuddle there), and she gets frustrated when her least favourite day meant she never gets to grow up, so she recites a curse from the book to stop everyone growing older, but it ends up freezing time. It's all fun at first, until the Brain Catcher appears to bring rough stuff to the street. Now it's up to Luke, Resus and Cleo to fix things before it's too late. My favourite scene in the entire episode is Luke playing another one of his pranks on Otto while he and Dixon are still frozen in time, and the episode gives a message about never letting your friends leave you - something I would take to mine since Luke, Resus and Cleo are my best friends.
9.Trick Or Shriek. A special Halloween episode to celebrate the occasion that Scream Street was not only meant to represent. I think Scream Street isn't just for Halloween, it's for every occasion, so growl at CBBC for ruining my life! Anyway, Luke realizes that Scream Street doesn't celebrate Halloween because of obvious reasons, so he dresses Resus and Cleo up as humans and they go trick or treating from house to house, receiving repulsive candy such as chocolate covered blood blisters and honey covered locusts, which only Cleo can stomach. Monster pumpkins begin to attack the street, and the gang attempt to get rid of them with the help of zombie surfer dude Doug. Cleo lets out an ecstatic groan when she is covered in pumpkin guts, but at least she took a bath behind the scenes, just like her dad when he was in the bath in the episode 'The Plagues'.8.Wolfgang. Remember when Wolfgang returned in the fourth episode of the new Scream Street last October? Well, I prefer the original episode starring Wolfgang. Luke fails behind on his music lessons, so his parents hire a ghostly tutor who makes sarcastic puns, including the exciting "Sob sob, sad violins," which I sometimes like to say when my day isn't going so well or something shocking happens to me. Resus and Cleo try to find out what's occurring when Luke gets possessed by Wolfgang and he is forced to write his "Brilliant Second Symphony". The music exam allows us to see the many musical talents of the kids of Scream Street, including Dixon on a triangle and Luella on a trombone.7.The Uninvited. A kind of party you'd have with Scream Street residents if this is your favourite show and you're a spoiled celebrity or popular school kid is one with lots of drinking, dancing and chugging down tons of alcohol, although I think alcohol is bad for your health. While his parents go to a restaurant that serves normal food, Luke throws a massive party and invites Resus, Cleo, Luella, Farp and Doug, but doesn't invite Dixon, who has a job of taming poltergeists. The poltergeists begin to cause havoc around the street, but Luke has to invite Dixon to stop this madness. The Gatekeeper, who makes only one appearance in another episode with Dixon as a central character, 'Don't Forget Your Head', makes a joke about having a splinter in his finger, and Luke's party is ABSOLUTE WILD! I would love to invite Luke, Resus, Cleo, Doug and Luella to my house for a sleepover, as a sleepover with the trio is the best thing ever.6.The Brown Lagoon. This episode combines two of my favourite things - Scream Street and nature. This episode really brings the trio back to nature via a camping trip, but the only way you're going to let them live in nature is when you undress Luke and Resus (even remove their pants) and let them wander the forest naked, searching for waterfalls and smelling fresh flowers. Luke's dad, always a wimp, gets scared whenever he encounters scary things in Scream Street, so the family take a vacation in what Sir Otto Sneer calls "The Brown Lagoon". Soon, all the residents are getting into the natural spirit, setting up tents and sleeping outside in the fresh air (Cleo is resting outside, as you can tell from the picture above, she truly is a natural woman). Soon, Mr. Watson turns into a mud monster from touching a forbidden lake, and soon the trio have to turn him back to who he is. This episode is much like the Horrid Henry episode 'Horrid Henry's Holiday' except it's with monsters and not French people.5.Resus Rocks. The fifth episode is one of many to focus on Brain Drain, Resus' favourite band, and how his obsession causes trouble. This time, Luella is involved as Brain Drain insults him at an album signing, and she gets revenge by shoving his head down a drain. What results is Resus becoming a new lead guitarist for Brain Drain, visiting concert after concert and making Luke and Cleo jealous. The Cursed Fog sends all the zombies, including Doug, into a trance that makes them want to eat Resus, but this culminates in the trio reuniting, with Luke saying one thing that'll help me remember him, Resus and Cleo forever: "Friends, forever, whatever." They'll always be my CBB-BFFs, nothing can ever change that.4.Nightmare Neighbour. Oh god, I would love to live at one of the trio's houses. If I would live at Luke's house, we would joke around and even share a bed together, like most romantic couples do. If I would live at Cleo's house, we would take milk baths together and hang out, with me taking a peek into her magazines. And If I lived at Resus' house...BRAIN DRAIN TO THE MAX! As long as it doesn't make me deaf. Luke tries to avoid family board game night by making the ceiling leak with blood, resulting in lots of vampire rats and the family moving in with Resus and his family. Luke enjoys the life of the party, while Mr. Watson feels agitated because of the fact he has to cope with vampires. He screams at the sight of Resus' father and Lulu, the family pet, which is intense to close your eyes to. Later, Cleo and her dad are revealed to set up an extermination programme to get rid of all the vampire rats in the Watsons' house, and...LUKE'S MUM TURNS INTO A VAMPIRE RAT! OH MY GOD! Also, the Gatekeeper is ticklish when fur rubs against his bark.3.Haunted House. The second episode is from the series that started off the adventures of Luke, Resus and Cleo back in 2015. Looking back, I wish I could've payed more attention to Scream Street and my former favourite Strange Hill High, but...too late. Anyway, Luke, Resus and Cleo are bound by curiosity when they visit a mysterious house in the woods, and Dig the dog comes along too. This episode also marks the first appearance of Luke's werewolf, and the formulaic sequence that appears whenever Luke transforms this way, which is often shortened for time span. This is one of the more calming episodes of the early season, mainly one to watch when you've had a horrible day, only because of either school, work or a period. Live to love them.2.Grampy Vampy. April Fools' Day occurs rarely in a Scream Street episode, but in this one, it's Screaming Fools' Day, which means the kids of Scream Street play pranks on each other in the school, which is a real hoot to watch. Dr. Skulley, the strict schoolteacher, takes all the kids' prank material and throws them into the confiscation cupboard, so Resus gets the help of trainee witch Luella to perform a spell to get his Grampy Vampy back. A short flashback occurs as we see Resus open up a drink can with his Grampy Vampy, depicted as a set of false vampire teeth. Luella is seen hugging Cleo's camel bladder, and oh my god, it makes a rude noise. A headless demon appears and tries to get what he wants for granted, but obviously the trio stop him. Also, Eefa is great at salsa dancing. She should dance to Gotan Project's Venus Nabalera, which I listened to non-stop the year after I discovered both the books and the TV series.1.Scream Clean. Ah, the episode that started it all. It'll instantly develop your love for the show and make you feel nostalgic about being a kid in 2015, sitting back in the comfy black chair for a sensual new stop-motion favourite. There are many stop-motion classics that appeared before, including those with a certain postman, builder and fireman, but stop-motion shows are not just about people with jobs, they can be about anything you want. The scene with Eefa demonstrating her cleaning powder to Luke while Otto looks on might be a good time to set the music from the 2005 Comfort Pearls advert to this scene. This episode will instantly introduce you to Luke, Resus and Cleo before any other, and they will become your best friends for life.
