They Came!
My pack of 50 books came today! Here they are: millions of them! Now, which shall I send to first? I'm sending three each, so I'm hoping to send them to Factory, CBBC and my various friends and relatives since they contain my favourite characters from Strange Hill High (which I believe is sadly gone from CBBC, but hey, I can still catch it on DVD), Kipper, Scream Street (which I've missed today :() and Clangers. With 3 pounds with each copy sold, I'll be RICH!
Change-About-Ray & Other Me, You, And...Lullabies
Based on Putumayo's 'Asian Dreamland' CD.
The main lullaby is based on Gobbo's spell from 'Noddy & The Golden Tree' as Furaha wishes her friends and the reader goodnight. In fact, multiple references to this TV episode are made throughout the book and its lullabies, mainly the lullaby set to Zulya's 'Cradle Song' named 'The Golden Tree' where Furaha, the Digidestined and their Digimon get beamed to the dark wood so that a dark force can help them find the golden tree, which grows golden leaves every midsummer night. This is my attempt of bringing a classic Noddy episode back for a new generation of children, along with many other original, enchanting Me, You, And...lullaby stories, like the tale of two lion brothers who brave the storm in search of their parents, from whom they've been separated.
