On this day in October, Lady Penelope, Parker and I went on a shopping trip in the big town far away from our peaceful countryside mansion.
On the way, I was whining that I was hungry, so Penelope produced a packet of chocolate biscuits from out of her bag.
“Oi, milady,” said Parker all of a sudden, “Have you heard they’re selling Lion King, Little Mermaid and Care Bears sweatshirts?” At once I brightened up.
“And have you heard they’re selling Halloween milk now?” he added. “Yeah!” I piped up, “Orange cream and chocolate.” “I think we’ll add those to our list, Parker,” said Penelope, writing on her rose-patterned notepad. When we arrived at B&M, I was concerned it might be too crowded.
So Penny had to go in and do the shopping while I relaxed in Fab-1 with Parker. It seemed very peaceful at first, but then I heard a baby squealing loudly nearby. “Yoohoo, Parker!” called an Australian-accented voice. It was Nutmeg and her baby, Cupcake, who were strolling past.
I got to hold Cupcake and cuddle him while Parker chatted with Nutmeg. The conversation went on for a very long time, and I was getting restless.
