There are some things money can't buy - that's what Barbara Ann Kipfer might say if she were helping me write my list books. But using a piggy bank and some of the pocket money you earned, there will be things you wish you would buy and that you found out money's not for!
You will need:
- A piggy bank of any kind
- Your pocket money
- A notebook
- A pen
First of all, take out your purse and count how much pocket money you have earned. The amount of money you have will be the amount of things you are happy about. If it's a coin, place it into your notebook and trace around it.
With each amount you earn, write the exact number of things you're happy about in your notebook, and then place it through the slot into your piggy bank. When the time comes to spend your money, pop out the cork at the bottom and re-read what you are happy about from each page you wrote on until the day you finally get to spend it.
For you see, the lesson is:
Money isn't about greed. It's about selflessness and who you share it with.
That's happiness.
