Operation Ouch Toothbrush Playtime

After seeing this scene in an Operation Ouch episode, I've decided to set up some fun activities themed around dental health for you and your child to do together, from Pre-K Pages. Check it out and get creative:

Haste Ye Remember The Mouse Ears...

Disney Junior is sadly leaving the UK tomorrow, including my good friend Bluey :(. But if you're signed into Pinterest, there's a whole range of Disney Junior activities themed around Mickey Mouse, Puppy Dog Pals and of course my favourite Disney Junior show Bluey which you can do with your child to remember the good times they've spent with Mickey and his D.J. gang.

Bluey's Family Have A Sad Announcement....

MUM: Okay, when we break the news to the girls, we need to do it in a way that doesn't make one of us seem like the bad guy - we need to let them know that we still love them...it's just that Disney Junior is going away tomorrow, along with Disney Channel and Disney XD.
DAD: Yeah, you're right. But look - it's okay. I'll start the conversation. If they have any anger, it'll be towards me. They can't be mad forever.
MUM: Wow, Bandit, that's very mature of you.
DAD: They always liked you more anyway.

MUM: Girls! Put your toys down for a minute. Your dad and I...daddy and I have something to tell you.
DAD: Girls, your mum and I love you very much.
MUM: So very much.
DAD: You are just the best girls in the gosh-darn world and we are so lucky to be your parents. And that's why...I'm raising your allowance by five whole dollarbucks!
BLUEY/BINGO: Yeah! Woohoo!
MUM: What?!
BINGO: Thank you, daddy!
BLUEY: You're the best dad ever!
MUM: Bandit, what are you doing? Girls - you're not getting a bigger allowance. Disney Junior is going off the air to make room for Disney+.
DAD: What?! No! Mum, why?!
BLUEY: Why are you doing this to Disney?
BINGO: It's the mouse house's fault!
*Everyone begins crying*
DAD: Those monsters!
MUM: It's about time I told them. If you don't have Disney+, then too bad. But luckily Disney Junior has a unique Youtube page that can get you anywhere Disney Junior related, so you can catch up with my favourite daughter and her friends Mickey, Kion, Doc, Sofia, Bingo - no offence, Bingo.
BINGO: None taken, mummy.
MUM: Rolly, Nancy and the others. Hit the link below and check out some of the awesome videos on there, including their superb craft tutorials with the silly and happy music my daughters love so much. There's a Disney Channel themed Youtube channel as well, so click both links and get exploring! We'll miss you as much as Bluey misses Jean-Luc:

When CBBC Rips Off Its Own Shows...

Luke, Resus & Cleo Review: The 'Hood: Learn With Bingo

CLEO: Have you ever got the feeling that a children's show without any interactive educational meaning can suddenly turn into Dora The Explorer mode?
LUKE: Now we have! Look at this - Learn With Bingo is made in the style of an old fashioned educational film from the 1970's.
RESUS: I have to admit, my favourite is where Bingo teaches you the ABC's.
LUKE: Yeah, it always reminds us of Yakka Dee for some reason - all those montages featuring Dee and her animated and live action friends always makes me dizzy, but this is similar to the aforementioned except it has characters from Bluey in it.
CLEO: Very well put.
RESUS: And about the numbers - Bingo's teaching math instead.
CLEO: Won't preschoolers like it?
LUKE: Nah, they'll like it as much as they love things like Dora The Explorer and Bubble Guppies.
RESUS: The long pauses allow time for the youngsters at home to shout out the answer to Bingo at home.
LUKE: That makes Bingo a child's friend like Bluey is a child's friend too.
CLEO: They also teach shapes and colours through fetching games, much like a mini game show, except a 4 year old heeler hosts and has her three friends and teacher from kindy as her contestants.
LUKE: What about us? We star in The 'Hood too, do we have a role to play?
CLEO: No, we don't star in the episode.
RESUS: What the episode is about depends on who stars in the episode - since it's an episode about learning, the kids from kindy and Miss Retriever all star in this.
CLEO: But still, I think the alphabet part is my favourite part.
LUKE: I agree.
RESUS: Yeah.
CLEO: Hey, look what I've found!
LUKE: Wait, before you click the link...is Learn With Bingo also the alternate name of the Bluey Season 2 episode 'Bingo'?
CLEO: Maybe. Anyway, look at this link. Parents can expand the experience more with activities centered around the original version, just named 'Bingo', including activities about kiwis and problem solving, but not ABC's and 123's and all that stuff about sharing, another important value learnt in Learn With Bingo.
RESUS: Parents! Click the link below and try to find some activities to arrange for your little Bingo wannabe. It's a great way to expand their horizons on learning and to help your child learn and develop:

Look out for more episodes of The 'Hood coming soon!
-Yours sincerely,
Sybil, Luke, Resus & Cleo

The 'Hood: Baby Steps & Adventure

Baby Steps:
The gang enjoy looking at Bingo and Bluey's baby pictures and find their old baby bootees in the baby box. They decide to use foot painting to recreate a baby's first steps into the world - but Trafalgar's ends in a slip!
Adventure:
The gang set off in their imaginary hot air balloon on a pretend adventure around the world. Using their imaginations, they travel to many different places, ending on the moon where they have cheesy bread balls for lunch!

The 'Hood Ep.61: Learn With Bingo

In this educational episode of The 'Hood, Bingo is your instructor as you learn about letters, numbers, colours and shapes from her and her friends and teacher from Kindy! I have to admit, doing the part where Bingo talks about the letters of the alphabet is my favourite bit in the entire episode.
