The Wild Robot & The Berenstain Bears & Too Much TV

Two essential books I need to help me through my life skills phase.

Shops-A-Lot

Today was another big achievement in the life of yours truly. To start with, this morning while I was taking advice from a column on Peter Brown's website about his book, The Wild Robot Escapes, I found my dog Mylo running in with a whole bag of treats in his mouth. Knowing what I did yesterday, I opened a bag of treats and lured him away from the red bag with a treat whilst I put the bag on the counter and whispered, just like a panicking Teletubby, "Run away! Run away!"

Later on I helped Mum with the shopping. I sang a special working song to the tune of a song from The Lion King: Rhythm Of The Pride Lands:
"Put the shopping away,
Put the shopping away,
Put the shopping away,
Put the food away..."
And as I did it, I had fun picking up all the items on the order and carrying them into the kitchen, where I put them all on the kitchen counter. Mum and I made a great team trying to put all the food and stuff onto the counter, and later, I gave a piece of chicky (or Chimken as Linda calls it to Tucker) to Mylo for being such a good and loving baby boy.

Yo next time, we do the laundry!
