The Fire In Her Eyes...

Remember Dr. F?

I miss her. We'll see more of her and Six soon...go on, CBBC, don't treat Scream Street like a piece of rubbish...
Relive the historic first time Dr. F and Six appeared on our screens last October:

When Lite Hears His Name Called Out In The Light Of The Sun...

I.B.F.Fs: Video Games Ideas

In an effort to get my stressed siblings off the games console after a whole week of playing Zombie Kickboxer after school, I challenge them to a whole weekend of spending time with me. We climb trees, create friendship bracelets and create fairy houses and forts, and later all the family goes out for ice cream.

Try these activities at home!

I.B.F.Fs' Magic Halloween [Plans]

I.B.F.Fs: Magic Halloween is an unexpected trick-or-treating adventure, inspired by Noddy's Magic Holiday, The Enchanted Wood and The Magic Faraway Tree and Scooby Doo & The Goblin King.

Luke, Resus, Cleo, Dig, Lulu and I go out trick or treating when we follow some gold pixie dust footprints through a dark forest of gnarly trees. This leads us to the whimsical Enid Blyton-style world of Halloween Land, a place similar to Scream Street where monsters reside, and we are treated to a performance of 'Little Lamb Dragonfly' down on the beach. But someone is out to get all the monsters there - Aston McNealy, a monster hunter who I say was inspired by Carla Black to me, and who holds magic spells and powers, even the power to control the weather and rip houses down.

It also includes a visit to a castle with an elevator which leads to the spooky place in the clouds called 'Hollow Sky' and a ride on the clouds. If you're interested to see how I came up with the character of Aston McNealy, watch these Scream Street episodes starring Carla Black on iPlayer:

I.B.F.Fs At The Beach

I started working on this on paper as soon as Buried Alive was delivered.
It's the Summer holidays, and I'm very excited because I'm going on holiday at the seaside with my mum, Mr. and Mrs. Watson, Mr. and Mrs. Negative, Mr. Farr, my siblings Luke, Resus and Cleo and our pets Dig and Lulu. Bluey is going camping with her mum and dad, Uncle Stripe and Aunt Trixie, cousins Muffin and Socks and Nana, while Simon and Gaspard are visiting their grandma and grandpa's house by the sea. For me and my siblings, our holiday will be the best! Luke is looking forward to paddling in the sea, Resus is looking forward to having an ice cream (but not looking forward to the 'Beach Zombie' game) and Cleo is looking forward to relaxing...well, we're all looking forward to that.

The morning of the holiday, Luke, Resus and I get excited, but Cleo has a calm composition as my older sister. We catch a bus to the train station, and we play a game using crayons and Cleo's drawing pad to guess the jobs of the people riding on the bus, such as builder, sailor and surprisingly priest.
I was inspired by the buffet scene in the video above to do this next scene.

At the train station, we stop off at the buffet to have breakfast because we skipped it earlier this morning. Luke, Cleo and I have sunny-side up eggs, bacon, sausages and beans, while Resus, being a vegetarian because he doesn't like blood, has a salad, and all of us have a glass of milk with a straw each. Luke and I joke about cows and goats having salad for breakfast each day so they'd give us milk and goat's cheese, and Resus ponders about female vampires producing milk the same way cows do as he blows bubbles into his milk.

I'll fill you in on more Buried Alive-style action from I.B.F.Fs At The Beach soon, so stay tuned!

I.B.F.Fs: Royal Pudding

In I.B.F.Fs: Royal Pudding, Bluey, Rusty, Snickers and I play at kings, queens, guards and princesses. I play the queen, Rusty plays the king, Snickers plays the guard and Bluey plays the princess. We hold a court meeting, and Rusty announces that there is no horse to help us get around, meaning going around on foot is such a bother.

That is it, but you have to find out what happens when Coco brings her birthday cake into school!

I.B.F.Fs: Boredom

In I.B.F.Fs: Boredom, a power outage hits during a Winter day, and my siblings Luke, Resus and Cleo and I are staying indoors with nothing to do...until I have an idea: I'll transform the familiar! This results in turning the living room into an imaginary swamp using cushions, plush alligators and dressing our pets, Dig the half-dog and Lulu the leech, as crocodiles. Pretending a sleeping Niles is the Alligator King, we cross the pretend swamp from cushion to cushion and avoid the crocodiles to reach the 'Brown Barge' (sofa). Teamwork is demonstrated as Luke and Resus help each other when Resus 'falls into the swamp' and befriends one of the alligators (Lulu). The next game we play is setting up a black bat cave in our bedroom, making it cosy with pillows, cushions, plastic black bats hanging from the ceiling and glow-in-the-dark moons and stars, plus dressing Dig and Lulu up as bats. We discover bats keep themselves warm with cosy duvets, have pillow fights and live on a venom-reducing diet of fruit and chocolate biscuits, before drifting to sleep and having a Bluey Fruit Bat-style dream where we fly with other bats, bathe in the sea, eat fruit in the world's rainforests and jungles, fly past our friends' windows while they are sleeping, steal chocolate biscuits to share with our bat friends from the supermarket and hang by our toes in a real cave with other bats. When I wake however, I feel sick and race to the bathroom to vomit. Luke, Resus, Cleo and our parents hear this and comfort us, bringing me to bed and treating me to ice cream, water and a nice massage from Luke.

Why not transform your bedroom into something like our bat cave in the story I wrote on paper today? Perhaps transform your bedroom into a lion's den, or transform your bathroom into a jungle or an underwater world to make bath or shower time more interesting. Disney+ At Grandma's

Thought we couldn't watch Disney at Grandma's? Well, you thought wrong!
Now I can watch Bluey anytime on Disney+ both at home AND at Grandma's. The first episode I ever saw here is 'The Dump' AKA 'Road Trip'. To celebrate my grand achievement, try some activities themed around this, Zoo, Backpackers, The Adventure, Copycat, The Sleepover, Early Baby and Mums & Dads:
https://www.huggies.com/en-us/tips-advice/activities-play/things-to-do/10-ideas-for-daddy-daughter-dates-with-a-toddler - Why not make up an I.B.F.Fs story based on your day out? You could star me, Luke, Resus, Cleo, Bluey, Bingo, Chloe, Mackenzie and Honey in a story set at the water park, or you could write about me and my siblings going with Uncle Stripe and Aunt Trixie to the farmer's market, whatever suits your tone.

Or, if you come from Australia and don't find Bluey on Disney+, you can see it on iView:
