Chocolate Nest Cakes

I'm off writing stories for the weekend and working on my blog, but I'll be appearing at various intervals to give you my entries from Dork Diaries and Express Yourself for tomorrow and Sunday. Until then, while you're waiting, you can make something in time for Easter - those scrumptious yet gum-stabbing (not if you survive them going through your teeth) chocolate nest cakes!

Calming Kids' TV Shows

While scouring my mum's computer, I found this list of calming TV shows before I saw this list featuring Bluey and If You Give A Mouse A Cookie. Here it is:
Here is my version, which I hope you think will be a lot better than the original:
  • Care Bears
  • Daniel Tiger's Neighbourhood
  • Franklin
  • Kipper The Dog
  • Scream Street
  • Waybuloo
  • Lily's Driftwood Bay
  • Little Bear
  • The Book Of Pooh
  • Strange Hill High
  • Max & Ruby
  • Llama Llama

The Best Kids' TV Shows

Get this, I found this online while surfing through Mum's computer. I love it because it contains Bluey on it, but there are some shows on there worth avoiding like Peppa Pig...
Here's my version:
  • Arthur
  • Esme & Roy
  • The Book Of Pooh
  • Franklin
  • Bluey
  • In The Night Garden
  • Harry & His Bucketful Of Dinosaurs
  • Clifford The Big Red Dog (2000)
  • Daniel Tiger's Neighbourhood
  • Scream Street
  • DinoCity
  • Pajanimals
  • Claude
  • Miffy's Adventures Big & Small
  • Creative Galaxy
  • Wishenpoof
  • Love Monster
  • Little Bear
  • Dog Loves Books
  • Clangers
  • Abney & Teal
  • Simon
  • Pip & Posy
  • Postman Pat
  • Llama Llama
  • Teletubbies (original)
  • Strange Hill High
  • Sesame Street
  • Chip & Potato
  • My Pride
  • Odd Squad

I Think I'm Getting To Like DinoCity...

I'm getting to like Tiny Pop's newest slice-of-life show DinoCity, and it's my favourite modern show from the channel besides Esme & Roy and Simon. Put the mentioned two together and you get a dinosaur-starred comedy where everyday life and the joy of play turns BONKERS! In today's episodes, Ricky, my new best friend, and his big sister Tyra try to grow everything but worried when their Dad might grow to twice the size as Tiny Pop's former star Clifford The Big Red Dog, then Ricky, Tyra and Dad do some decorating and end up in a messy situation with paint, wallpaper and glue! This is definitely a substitute for Peppa Pig if I were you, parents. Give it a watch!

Jelly Sweets!

The perfect treat to watch when watching these shows on Disney+:

Muppets Can Write Too!

I've found this video featuring Abby and Rudy from Sesame Street showing you how to do my most favourite thing of all time: write! All stories need a beginning, a middle and an end, but with me I like to play around with story dynamics and plot new story ideas, like in today's story, I.B.F.Fs' Magic Halloween. I stopped the story when I did my diaries, but I can continue it by planning in my big bird notebook! (Geddit, because there's a character in Sesame Street called Big Bird!). Let Abby and Rudy demonstrate my hobby:

Keep Calm & Have A Scooby Snack

I'm sorry to tell you that I cannot access iPlayer on my TV because of poor internet connection - TVs NEVER do that! But instead of throwing a tantrum and getting anxious, I tried some deep breathing exercises like I did yesterday, or when Grandma was sent to hospital. You can try them too. Click the link below and find some breathing exercises to take your mind off not internet.

Then, when you can't have an egg hunt due to rain, give your indoor Easter egg hunt a Scooby Doo & The Goblin King twist by painting eggs to make them look like Scooby Doo, Shaggy, Mr. Gribbles, the Amazing Krudsky, the Goblin King, Fairy Princess Willow and various monsters, witches and fairies featured in the film. Click the link below to find some inspiration for other Easter eggs you can design:

Dork Diaries: OMG: All About Me - 2.4.21 [Year 1]

I would like to relive the 26th-30th October 2020, when Scream Street returned to CBBC.
