In an early 1993 concept for The Lion King, Timon, Pumbaa and Simba got drunk. Not on alcohol, but on coconut juice. Here's the scene:
It's just after Hakuna Matata that it happens. Simba is walking by, whistling the song that was heard earlier, when he hears Pumbaa burping from behind the bushes. He peers through and sees Timon and Pumbaa drinking coconut juice. The two, now drunk, urge Simba to try some. Simba, knowing the 'No rules' rule of living in the jungle, drinks from a full half of a coconut, the pink foam going all over his mouth like an old man's beard, before he burps loudly, causing the whole jungle to shake and birds to fly out of the trees. The lion then becomes drunk himself, and throws his coconut onto the floor before stating "Hey, I can stand on my hind legs!" As he does, he stumbles, and Timon and Pumbaa urge him to stop, before he comically falls into the water. Timon then wets himself, with graphic animated urine shown on screen, ala 'Pingu's Lavatory Story'.
Disney cut out the scene due to protests from the U.S. Department Of Health & Human Services and thought the scene of Timon urinating on the ground was too inappropriate for kids. If you want to learn more about the dangers of alcohol, click here:
