June 2020 - 1st-7th June

1st May

To make myself better from worrying, I watched CBeebies shows like Love Monster and Andy's Safari Adventures.

2nd May
A day in lockdown like this makes me feel so lonely I've been thinking about my first visit to Linda's house and her Winnie The Pooh ornaments.

3rd May
Bluey...as a TEEN?! No! It can't be! But I enjoyed her and Jean-Luc's survival adventure AND I made books for my works.

4th May
My new story notebooks? SUCCESS! And I have a new, Bluey-themed notebook to keep track of Bluey on Disney Junior

5th May
Libby gave me a wooden heart today to say how much she's been missing me through lockdown.

6th May
What a whirlwind of a day it has been! In the Kid-E-Cats episode 'Mum's Birthday', we celebrate the inner woman inside our carers.

7th May
  • All week - Me, You, And...

  • Monday - The Weekend/The Creek
  • Tuesday - The Phone
  • Wednesday - Backpackers
  • Thursday - Snowy Slopes & Snowboards

My Favourite Adverts Of All Time!

These are the adverts I can't resist - unlike some I know. I still love sponsorship, though. Hey, that rhymed!

First up we have these classic Sylvanian Families adverts showing only the toys whilst a Westcountry-accented narrator tells a story surrounding the toy being advertised. This one is about open night at Beechwood Hall.
Next there's these obnoxious ads for Peperami - they feature the Animal, the mascot of the brand, who spends most of the ads screaming, shouting and devouring himself. And I LIKE it.
Perfume ads are good because they feature the most sensual footage seen by the human eye. One I'm going to show you as an example is an Acqua Di Gio film, which is so sensual it makes you want to dive into water right away...even when it's in the bath.
And finally, we have this advert for Rice Krispies Squares which I can't RESIST! It makes me think about diving off a rock into water and experiencing freedom and go, "WOOHOOOO!!! Hey! Woo-hoo-hoo! Yeah-he-hey! Woohoo yeah-he-hey!" just like Tiger in The Swimming Pool. Here, have a look:
