The 'Hood Songtime

You know those songs they show in between programmes on ABC Kids? Well, I've created a new interstitial series for ABC Me and ABC Kids - The 'Hood Songtime! Here's what the description will say on the ABC iView website:
"Delightful, bouncy and fun reggae covers by Asheba, set to joyful animations featuring your favourite characters from The 'Hood."

Almost all the songs are reggae covers of songs from the original Teletubbies, Play School: Through The Windows, Play School and Otis Day & The Knights by children's reggae artist Asheba, two of the songs, Loose Change and Three Little Birds, were performed by Joe Hall & The Treehouse Band and Cedella Marley. Garrangali, who composes the music for Me, You, And Transformers Cybertron, will do a cover of the Play School: Through The Windows song 'Aeroplane Song' in English, in a similar style to their song 'Sea Rights'.
  • Loose Change - The gang enjoy a Summer day at the park with their friends and families.
  • Kangaroo - The gang take an Australian outback tour and try to spot kangaroos. Bingo gets to hold Joey.
  • Aeroplane Song - The gang pretend to fly like the planes they see in the sky and imagine flying with their airborne friends.
  • Blowing In The Breeze - The gang play with things that blow in the wind, like pinwheels, leaves and laundry.
  • Billy The Blue Tongue Lizard - The gang imagine they're in Izzy's storybook and pretend they are Aboriginal people trying to observe Billy The Blue Tongue Lizard's story.
  • Good Morning - The gang take a walk along the road on the way to school and kindy and say good morning to their waking neighbours.
  • Bump-A-Deedle - The gang and their friends and family dance to this bouncy reggae cover of Bump-A-Deedle in front of a colourful background, and Dad gets to show off his moves, impressing Mum in the process.
  • Little Baby - A montage of images of the smiling faces of children from the Australian Native Nursery and the gang and their friends showing their own facial expressions and pulling funny faces set to this reggae cover of this Teletubbies lullaby. Dad has the habit of sticking his finger up his nose and pulling the funniest face ever pulled!
  • Shama Lama - Calypso leads Bluey and her friends in a hand-clapping song game, which turns into a marching band and later into a conga line that Izzy and the other kids in her gang join in with.
  • Handy Hands - From Auslan to shadow puppets, the gang and their friends and family, including their friends Sally and Possum, demonstrate how useful hands really are, as the gang clap out the rhythms to this jammin' Jamaican beat about - you guessed it - handy hands!
  • Three Little Birds - On a sunny day, Izzy looks around at the places in the neighbourhood and imagines all the things she could do with her friends on such a fine day.

My Lockdown Baby Book

2020 started out like any other normal year.

I only got to spend some time with my friends for the first two months before the pandemic took them away from me.
I cried and cried, but there's always a solution...
I saw two new shows: Dog Loves Books on CBeebies, and Bluey on Disney Junior. God said, "They were my friends now".
I've had lots of firsts during lockdown.
My first time discovering new episodes of Bluey and giving the Bluey episodes fun and Jamaican style new names, such as 'Good Morning' and 'Shama Lama'.
My first time helping Dog and Pug so much that I got more inspiration than I ever had before, even when they were in that drawing world.
And those annoying first times being frightened by loud noises that hurt my autistic ears.
Now that Scream Street's returned, it's the most glorious day of my life. Today is my first time seeing the second episode of Scream Street, an experience that I've wanted to do since the pandemic kept them away from me.
Near the end of the pandemic, I've gotten addicted to movies from Tom & Jerry and Scooby Doo - some have elements of Scream Street and other stuff like Malory Towers, South Park's Imaginationland trilogy, Peter Pan, Sweet Valley High and more. I think I'll be a famous writer soon.
I heard that Disney Junior might be taken off the air to make room for Disney+, and I might miss Bluey when that happens.
I overheard them saying that Scream Street will be returning to CBBC soon the same way Dennis & Gnasher Unleashed did last month.
I have many wishes for the future, but of all the wishes, I not only wish to be a writer, but to let Scream Street and Strange Hill High stay on CBBC forever.
Will you help me?

And prepare to live the life I wanted to live - one with good friends like Luke, Resus and Cleo.

Thank you.

Unfamiliar Beebies

I have an important announcement to parents whose kids are longtime CBeebies fanatics (and maybe you are too) - everything is becoming too unfamiliar on CBBC and CBeebies right now. Those featuring stars like Steve Backshall, Andy, Mr. Tumble and Dr. Chris and Dr. Xand prove alright, but everything that premiered with new original characters this year, beside Dog Loves Books and Love Monster, has become a little...wierd. This is why I'm here to tell you about two new CBeebies shows that are coming in two weeks - a home edition of the Andy series, named Andy's Dinosaur Toybox, and Tik Tak, a show for infants showing nothing but stimulating imagery, sounds, patterns, games and stories with nobody talking whatsoever, almost like CBeebies' very own Baby Einstein. But since lockdown began, CBeebies and CBBC have gone out of their minds over what children like to see.

A Strictly Come Dancing star is hosting a dance show for kids?!

Mr. Tumble is hosting a storytelling and vlog show from his own home?!

The Baby Club is abandoning its 'exploring random objects' theme and telling grown-ups about various activities to do with their babies?!

AND TIK TAK SHOWS NOTHING BUT IMAGERY THAT'S SIMILAR TO BABY EINSTEIN?!

To escape this mess, I'd rather watch Dog Loves Books, Love Monster, Clangers and Scream Street because they give me good story ideas (Dog Loves Books), they have adult voice actors unlike other shows like Bing and Charlie & Lola which contain child actors and they depart from the rest, not wierding me out in the process.
