Sad News...

"The episode ends with Bluey missing her new friend Jean-Luc and surely your kids will relate to missing their own friends right now. Write them an old-fashioned letter!"
-Sydney Creative Playworker, Camping

Luke, Resus and Cleo won't be there in two weeks, so on Monday November 2nd, in place of my usual Bluey-themed blog post, I'll write Luke, Resus, Cleo, Luella, Doug and Six old-fashioned letters saying how much I'll miss them and love them and wishing I'll meet them again. Tomorrow, as the CBBC schedule hasn't been fully unveiled yet, I'll do the second week of November, but if my tubs run out, I'll use meditation to figure out which work I'll do in the next two weeks. Writing works about my friends is the best way to get over missing them, as I've seen a picture of a drawing of Bluey and Jean-Luc on Google. May good fortune be with you.

I'm doing the next three weeks right now, so there's no need to be impatient. Good luck!

Luke, Resus & Cleo Review: I.B.F.F Diaries '15 - Part 10: Best Halloween Ever

LUKE: When we last left Tiny and Small Clanger, they were dressed up as a bunny and a werewolf for Halloween!
CLEO: Wait a sec - let's skip a little further. Since Tiny pulled all the breakfast things off the table, she decided to be like me, but Peter Rabbit - that sneaky little brat who always thinks about himself and never sneaks into Mr. McGregor's garden - pulled off her bandages, she was stuck with ideas.
RESUS: The best thing about Small is that he is a great and supporting big brother. He's the one who saw that My Story episode and encouraged Tiny to dress up as a pearly queen.
LUKE: *laughs* Tiny gets everything wrong about pearly queens and werewolves - although, werewolves really need to have a bath and brush their teeth. Earlier, these two Clangers acted stupid at a farmer's market. They even make references to two Teletubbies episodes about Cuddles the teddy bear, 'Cuddles Gets Lost' and 'Cuddles Poor Paw'.
RESUS: Well, Mr. Reference-Maker, check out this kind deed Mitchell and co did for us - they wrote a letter showing us the basics on CBBC, and told us that if an animated sequence from The Dumping Ground episode 'I Have A Dream' happened in real life, the Dumping Ground would flood! Clever nod to the Kipper episode 'Water Water Everywhere' though, with Mike getting knocked down by a gush of water.
CLEO: Sybil's reading our friends our debut!
LUKE: They even talk about the drugged-up sequences of The Dumping Ground and 4 O'Clock Club. Wait - my favourite show is Wolfblood, am I right?
RESUS: Mine is Young Dracula. Soon it'll be Heirs Of The Night.
LUKE: Speaking of Heirs Of The Night...are YOU excited for new Scream Street?

Watch out for more I.B.F.F Diaries '15 - Part 10 coming next Friday, along with new Scream Street episode 'Double Trouble'!
-Yours sincerely,
Sybil Somerset

I.B.F.F Diaries '15 - Part 10: Best Halloween Ever

Remember the animated sequences in the Dumping Ground episode 'Three Days'? Well one of them showed the historic moment when Sasha threw all the food onto the floor in reverse. If this happened in real life, both the kids at the Dumping Ground and news reporters all over Britain would be baffled that Sasha actually has superpowers this whole time, including her actor. This will be revealed in the exciting Part 10 of I.B.F.F Diaries '15, but for now enjoy Mitchell and friends being read the first Scream Street book, Tiny and Small exploring a farmer's market in Edinburgh and deciding what Tiny should wear for Halloween!

I Thought I Was Getting The Worst Witch

...but I got Almost Never, the show that gave away spoilers from the moment it premiered in January of last year.

CBBC, this is what I think of your drastic schedule changes, since The Worst Witch is my favourite drama series on the channel beside The Dumping Ground and 4 O'Clock Club...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Deep In The Middle Of The Dark Dark Down Under...

....there is some exciting news for Aussies reading this blog!

Not only is an adorable set of Molang specials airing, but there are TWO Scream Street episodes airing! You're going to enjoy it as much as you'll enjoy new Bluey, but it's only in Australia! Here's a clip from the Molang special:

If This Happened In Real Life, The Dumping Ground Would Flood....

The 'Hood: Splish Splash Teaser

The gang are having a splashing good time at Chloe's birthday pool party with Honey and Mackenzie, but one thing looms in their minds: do mermaids exist, and are there really ones in the pool? Chloe decides to dedicate her entire party to mermaids and their magical underwater world as a result, and the gang have fun pretending to splash and dive and search for sunken treasure like real mermaids.

While you're waiting, if your child's birthday is coming up, you can treat them to a mermaid themed birthday party, or an awesome pool party if you have a swimming pool, or you can do a host of activities themed around the Bluey episode 'The Pool' AKA Skinny Dipping:

The 'Hood: Splish Splash. Coming soon!
