Ouchify Your Weekend!

Weekend's coming! Are you going to spend the entire two days pigging out on biscuits and watching CBBC iPlayer like Xand, or are you going to settle down with a good book and a glass of water in bed? You decide!

With Friends Like Bluey

I love....ALL OF THE EPISODES! But friendship wouldn't be truly magic without my best friends Bluey and Bingo.

My Views On Would You Rather

Like Don't Blame Me, Blame My Brain, Would You Rather is actually a pretty good show, and viewers can easily play along at home, unlike difficult questions you need to answer during Top Class. WHAT AM I SAYING?! THE DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK IS BETTER THAN TOP CLASS, GET OVER IT!!!

Anyway, the set for Would You Rather is actually a news studio that, when abandoned, lights up so that Darren can have fun and host his show. A panel of about 15 kids give their views on the questions, and just like in shows like Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Room 101 and Would I Lie To You, there are brief conversations between the hosts and the two contestants. Even Darren gets to wear an elephant face mask during the first question! Each episode has three questions and a clip from a CBBC show.

Okay, so, the first question is: would you rather have the trunk or ears of an elephant? Well, I would rather have a trunk so I could scare my enemies away and make as much noise as a Heffalump in Pooh's fantasies. The second question is, would you rather have hair that changes colour according to temperature, or eyes that change colour according to your mood? I don't want to feel a migraine at all, so I'd go with hair, so I'd do a sexy hair flip to music from those modern day Acqua Di Gio commercials. There is a short break to educate us on the second wife of King Henry through a clip from Horrible Histories. Get ready to groan, because it's from one of the overly repeated Historical First Dates sketches that feature Fred Siriex from Step Up To The Plate that I find overly annoying as a rat stuck up Death's bum. The final question is, would you rather travel to the future or to the past? I would rather go to the future, because I've always wanted to find out when more episodes of Scream Street and Bluey are airing on CBBC and CBeebies.

Now, I have a Would You Rather question for you! Would you rather:
Watch CBBC for an entire day without throwing a hissy fit
OR
Watch Scream Street on iPlayer for an entire day?

It's your choice. Make 'em up, I don't have all day!

Watch Would You Rather on iPlayer:

To Be Continued...

And now, Bluey has stopped airing in the freedom of nature. Every sleeping dog must lie in wait.
TO BE CONTINUED....

The Happiness Project - 2021 - 7.5.21

I got a CBeebies magazine with Bluey, a Friends magazine with Hey Duggee and I made brownies with Mum.

One Line A Day - 2021 - 7.5.21

I got a CBeebies magazine with Bluey, Dog Loves Books and Love Monster, and I made brownies with Mum in the kitchen.

Express Yourself - 7.5.21

I had a - no, TWO magazines for the first time in a year, and I made a temptingly delicious brownie in the kitchen with Mum.

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Journal - 7.5.21

Bluey, Bingo and Judo demonstrate natural process through a game about being a butterfly. It represents being born, living in nature and then, through Bluey and Judo, maturing and leaving nature to head to work in human society. Be free, Bluey, be free!

I received a CBeebies Magazine and, to my thrill, it has Dog Loves Books, Love Monster and, best of all, Bluey! I later made brownies with Mum, and they baked so well in the oven. I had a slice, and it was so tasty! I later got a Friends magazine, and these days issues of Friends contain Hey Duggee and Pinkfong's annoying Baby Shark. I haven't done these things in a year!

It's Time To Make Brownies

If you're looking for an episode or clip from JoJo & Gran Gran, you've come to the wrong place. There is an episode called 'It's Time To Bake' though, but...

JoJo & Gran Gran were featured as part of a CBeebies magazine Mum brought for me today. But the truth is, the best part about this issue of CBeebies is the bits featuring my favourite shows. The Dog Loves Books letters page and draw-your-own-book-cover, the Love Monster snap game and of course, the Bluey story featured at the very beginning, based on one of my favourite episodes, THE CREEK!! Wow, I knew CBeebies would embrace the series' natural series. I heard last night in Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Getaway that there is a nudist beach in the place the Heffley clan are staying in...and Bluey and everyone in her world doesn't wear clothes at all!

"Peter, thank you so much for helping to make this cake, but don't you think you're a bit big to be doing that?"
"When I baked with my mom, I always stood on a chair. Another memory is my Uncle Roy putting his finger in me."
"The best memories are family memories."
"What newspaper do cows read? The Moo York Times!"
"That's very clever, Peter!"
-Peter Griffin and his mum, Family Guy, 'Mom's The Word'

Talking of this quote, we brought making stuff with my support worker - y'know, the one with a mischievous and snaffly dog called Tweed - into our house during the current crisis with making brownies. It was a bit sticky, and we tried to follow Tasty's recipe quite well, especially the part where you put chocolate chunks into the brownie mix. Peter's mum was right, the best memories really are family memories...

...and mmm-mmmm, what a delicious looking brownie that is!

Later today, Mum went to the Co-Op again, this time she came back with a Friends magazine. And these days, they include Hey Duggee and Pinkfong's Baby Shark, although there is an upcoming show on Nick Jr called Baby Shark's Big Show. It may or may not be similar to The Amazing World Of Gumball, but I know an old Disney Junior show named Paprika looks similar to Gumball in many ways, due to the character design.

Wow, this is the first time I've had magazines or baked something in a year. This is also the first time I've done a blog post like this in quite a long time. Well, at least I'll find things to keep me occupied until the next batch of Scream Street episodes air on CBBC!
