Hello, Wall-E Dolly!

If I.B.F.Fs were adapted into a feature film, I'd feature old fashioned 1930's orchestral music the same way music from the film Hello Dolly played throughout Wall-E.

Doug Says...

Hey dudes, Doug here. Just came to tell you that my normal friend Sybil has encountered a horrific fanfic based around Scream Street. Panthers don't belong in Scream Street, they belong in the jungle. I'm going to say it again, this time in a deep growl...the juuuungglllle...heh-hey! It's easy to guess what Sybil will put her mind to now, she'll create stories of her and my freak friends Luke, Resus and Cleo instead, especially ones involving Huntstrike and Shystalk. If you dudes have any request, please talk to her on her blog or on her Pinterest page. In the meantime, I have to watch My Pride on Eefa's maglet...if I can borrow it.

Top 10 Descriptions For Scream Street Episodes I Should've Done If I Made A Blog From 2015-2018

Today, I present to you some deleted scenes from when I should've watched Scream Street! I should've set up a blog about the time I moved to Scotland, but I was just too busy. Trust me, these descriptions will be like those deleted scenes you have spotted on Disney DVDs, with added Scream flavour. Here are my top 10 descriptions from every day Scream Street aired on TV.
[All of CBBC is attending Cleo's party. Tyler approaches Cleo as she's drinking punch]
TYLER: What do you plan to do on your deathday, Cleo?
CLEO: Oh, nothing, I just want to freeze time and play a prank on Otto.
TYLER: AAAAAAAA!!!
[Everyone screams and races for cover. I am the only one standing, and I approach Cleo, who is a little upset]
ME: Are you okay, Cleo?
CLEO: Why does everyone run away when I say I'm going to freeze time?
ME: Because that's just how your Deathday episode works.
CLEO: I should've said today's Now You See It contains Carl Sagan singing, but it's autotuned.
ME: "I'm not very good at singing songs, but here's a try."
[Cleo and I laugh]
9.Heartbreak Heist - 16th January 2016. The Arthur episode 'Whip Mix Blend' aired at the beginning of that day, and since that episode gave me thoughts of living in the wild, I should've put up that description:
NILES: Look at it, Sybil.
"There are no others.

Close your eyes. Now forget what you see. What do you feel?"
NILES: Her heart. It's stolen today. That doesn't make sense to me.
8.The Bottomless Pit 22nd November 2018.
ME: Right - this is stinky cheese, these are troll toenails, and this is goblin vomit. Each of you are forced to pick which of these foul-smelling profanities mean to me as much as I mean to you.
CLEO: Gross!
RESUS: I hope I don't pick the troll toenails - not after last time!
ME: You will pick on my command, guys, that's all you have to know. Now GO!"
[Luke, Resus and Cleo lay their hands on the stinky cheese, but Farp appears and takes one, eating it.]
ME/LUKE/RESUS/CLEO: Farp!
FARP: Anyone for seconds? Uh-oh, I think I feel a burp coming on...
ME: Farp, NO!
UUUUUURRRRRPPP!!
7.Banished - 9th December 2015.
CHARLIE: It's Luke.
ME: Luke!
HACKER: Why have you come back?
LUKE: Hacker...I had nothing to do with...
HACKER: You don't belong here!
LUKE: Please, I ask your forgiveness.
ME: Hacker, please, listen to him!
HACKER: Silence! When you first came here you asked for judgement, and I pass it now!
ALL CBBC CHARACTERS & STARS: JUDGEMENT! JUDGEMENT! JUDGEMENT! JUDGEMENT!
HACKER: Let brand new Scream Street commence!
ME: Yes! Yes...Luke!
DANGER MOUSE NARRATOR: Baron Silas Von Greenback has come to dinner with Sir Otto Sneer, but will the two of them get along?
GREENBACK: Mmmmm-mmmm, that feast is so good!
SIR OTTO SNEER: Any room for seconds?
DIXON: You'll have to watch and see!
FARP/DOUG/LUKE: Ah yeah! Bring on the whiskey!
LUELLA: I got the funnel!
DOUG: Yeah!
CLEO: Shove it down Dixon's throat!
DIXON: +glugging noises+
LUKE/RESUS/CLEO/FARP/LUELLA/DOUG: Go! Go! Go! Go! Go!
DIXON: Pweah! UUUUURRRRPP!!
[Dixon groans and collapses]
This episode makes Dig and Lulu central stars, as they are lured into the plot of a new character, a normal monster hunter named Carla Black! Her advert will have anyone jumping up and screaming like apes, but sometimes you can't trust a monster hunter to do your bidding...but you can trust the residents of Scream Street, they love to play with you! Oo-be-doo, I wanna be like them!
3.The Bone Cruncher - 4th October 2018.
[Danger Mouse and Radzi are drinking juice at the seaside. Far out, we are playing in the sea...]
ME: Wahey! Okay guys, push me on the surfboard now. Yes!
CLEO: Wheeeee! Yeah!
RESUS: Wahey! Woohoo! Yeah! Wahey!
LUKE: Look out, here comes a big wave!
ALL OF US: Woohoo! Hey! Woo-hoo-hoo! Yeah, heh-hey! Woohoo, yeah, heh-hey!
[The wave crashes into the sea, carrying us with it]
ALL OF US: Woohoo!!
RADZI: Ooooh!
DANGER MOUSE: No wonder I took time off.
2.Homework From Hell 17th June 2016.
ME: Why are we forced to stay apart from each other?
LUKE: Cleo and Luella are going on a school trip today, so I'm left to look after Resus.
ME: What?! That keeps the whole gang apart!
LUELLA: For once, you're right. When my aunt dies, Cleo and I are going to live in an apartment together.
CLEO: How dare you say that! You dare not separate me from Luke and Resus! RAAAAA!!
[Cleo and Luella begin beating each other up]
LATER:
ME: Aaaaaawww...poor thing. I promise I'll protect you.
BELLA NEGATIVE: Resus has to stay in his room all day. No wonder he gave his illness to the whole school.
CLEO: Now I need taking care of. Luella beat me senseless.
And now, it's time for the moment you've been waiting for. It's new, it's irresistible, it's unlike any stop motion series you've ever seen before, it's all new SCREAM STREET! And now, the world's boniest teacher, Dr. Skulley, will speak the first beautifully constructed line of the new series...

Peace On Earth With Zenimation

One way to make peace on earth is by watching the most calming show on Disney+ right now: Zenimation. It just approached its second season last June, and we were over the moon. However, as it's Christmas, the article you're about to read is about a few Zenimation shorts that the website Honey Pop has picked. For these shorts, you need to listen to the pieces of music I specifically chose. They include:
  • Flight - Blackwind by Patrick Watson. It really syncs with the scene in the short where Peter Pan and the Darling children are flying over London, from the lyric "It weathers your face and leaves us no trace". My favourite scenes in the short are Cody and Marahute flying over the Australian outback in the freedom of the sky, herons flying over the river in a clip from The Lion King and Aladdin and Abu's dramatic escape from the cave.
  • Cityscapes - Mindfields by Prodigy. The one purpose it syncs well with the short is the scene where the Hopps Family Farm truck is seen driving to Zootopia, and a later clip of the film in the short which proves to be my favourite, where Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are journeying through Rainforest District, looks of uncertainty and amazement on their faces.
  • Night - Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran. The lyrics match everything that goes on on screen in this short, especially the moment where Belle and the Beast share a romantic moment out on the balcony. There are lots of romantic moments in this short - Aladdin and Jasmine, Tarzan and Jane, Anna and Kristoff, etc.. I have to admit, my favourite moments in the short are the clips from The Lion King, The Aristocats, Chicken Little and the moment where Hercules' image is formed in the stars.
  • Water Realms - The Sea by Morcheeba. The lyrics and music sync with the short because of how well it fits every single clip shown throughout, including the intertwined moments of Elsa crossing the dark sea and Moana restoring the heart of Te Fiti. My favourite moments are the clips from Brother Bear, The Lion King and especially that shocking moment where Christopher Robin and Winnie The Pooh make an appearance.
  • Serenity - To Build A Home by the Cinematic Orchestra and Patrick Watson. Everything, almost EVERYTHING, syncs with the short, the lyrics, the music, everything, especially at the beginning when Belle was wandering out of her cottage and Patrick Watson began singing "There is a house built out of stone...wooden floors, walls and windowsils..." My favourite moments in the short are Hiro and Baymax sharing a hug and flowers falling from a Sakura tree during a clip from Mulan.
Eat your heart out, Dark Side Of The Rainbow!

ScreamBlue Challenge Day 15 - A Nightmare On Scream Street & Tina

Today we're going to meet my rival Sam and his I.B.F.Fs - Clifford The Big Red Dog, Franklin, Little Bear, Rupert and Scooby Doo, but it won't be complete without not letting Bluey's friends get left out of creating imaginary friends of their own. First, make up an I.B.F.F for you (it may be your favourite TV character) or one of Bluey's friends. Maybe you can even design what Tina looks like! Afterwards, it's time to meet Sam's friends one by one. First, it's Clifford The Big Red Dog. Create your very own Clifford, or if you want instead of construction paper you can use red play dough to create a clay Clifford. Franklin's up next, so if your little one owns a Franklin soft toy at home, they can fill in this Franklin-themed writing journal to see what you and your green shelled I.B.F.F can get up to each day. I found no crafts relating to Little Bear and Rupert, but I found these fun colouring pages, most of Rupert's based on Rupert Bear: Follow The Magic. We're focusing on the Nelvana series at the moment, so it's no big deal. Finally, it's Scooby Doo, so print out and make this cute bracelet of young Shaggy and Scooby Doo. If you've got a favourite TV character you appreciate as a 'friend', use this worksheet to explain all the imaginary adventures you get up to together. Afterwards, watch some animated movies based around four of Sam's friends. My obvious choices include:
Clifford's Really Big Movie
Franklin & The Turtle Lake Treasure (watch Franklin's Magic Christmas if it approaches that time of year)
The Little Bear Movie
Scooby Doo & The Ghoul School
Wind down after a long day of making friends in fantasy with two books based on Clifford and Franklin: Clifford Goes To Kindergarten and Franklin's New Friend - I happen to like to illustration at the beginning of the Franklin story of Franklin hanging out with his friends near the lake. Or you can read from this selection of 31 books about Clifford - Clifford's Day With Dad, Clifford's Bedtime and Clifford's Family are my favourites from this list.
