Another Story With Cuddles

Since Trish has gone to bed, all of you might've been thinking about going to bed too, here's a bedtime story about Cuddles from the programme Teletubbies, featuring more beautiful illustrations.

Friends Forever

I just watched the online preview for the first episode of My Mum Tracy Beaker, and hearing Tracy and Jess squealing and laughing in delight as they splash about in Sean's pool filled my mind with thoughts of me, Luke, Resus and Cleo spending time together. In other words, there is an anime-style picture montage of all the times Luke, Resus, Cleo, Mitchell, Becky, Templeton and their CBBC and CBeebies friends hanging out and playing together from 2015-2018. Rosa-Lee on the other hand is a twin sister of May-Li, and Tracy was illustrated a lot younger than she was in the show in the original book. It also makes me think about the times Arthur, Tracy Beaker and Vlad spent together before Luke and the others showed up.

What makes a CBBC character a good friend and role-model, unlike most I know (yeah, I'm talking about you, Boy Girl Dog Cat Mouse Cheese)?

What Would You Wish For, Stanley?

I found another Stanley vlog, this time he meets a genie who grants him a wish to be a balloon modeller!

If you were to encounter that genie, what would you wish for?

J'Anae's Princess Chocolate Cake

J'Anae's wish involved her having afternoon tea and chocolate cake with princesses. I've found three special recipes for princess themed chocolate cake which you can make - and eat after dinner - at home.

Toothless & His Edible Friends

See, I told you I'd find a Toothless cake recipe. I've also found recipes for cakes themed around Stitch from Lilo & Stitch and a Minnie Mouse Disney castle.

Brothers Of The Birch

A tale of three brothers whose birch tree-inhabited forest is destroyed by a fire, and it's up to one of their own to head off alone to find the gemstone capable of bringing life back to the forest and healing his brothers.

Inspiration For Never Too Young To Have Fun

Sometimes, background detail can give you some excellent ideas.
These photos of Bluey, Bingo and their cousins on Nana's fridge are what inspired me to do the I.B.F.Fs story 'Never Too Young To Have Fun', where I stay with Bluey, Bingo, Muffin, Socks and Nana for the day and become intrigued by these exact photos to ask Nana what life was like for her before Bluey, her sister and their cousins came into her life. Her answers are amazing, thought-provoking and even nostalgic to elderly family members reading this story. When Sharptongue arrives with Nothing and Hover, the conversation extends further as to what Sharptongue's cubhood was like.

What questions would you ask your grandparents?

I.B.F.Fs: Lazy Morning

It is a lovely morning, and Luke, Resus, Cleo and I decide to take a picnic breakfast to the park at early sunrise. Once we get to the park, I see my friend Rusty feeding the ducks. I give a quick wave to him before catching up with my siblings.

To be continued....

Teletubbies, Playdays & Scream Street

I had a strange dream last night: after I searched up the Rai website and saw old Teletubbies episodes on there, I had a dream where I saw it on BBC iPlayer as well, along with Playdays! And I could've sworn I saw Little Baby on there. Did I? DID I?! Anyway...
After that, I saw some more behind the scenes videos and photos of season two of Scream Street. Which leads me to question the missing purpose of the world: do I have the same visionary powers as Issie the murderer from Mystic? Am I built to save the residents of Scream Street, including my friends, from certain doom? Whatever life asks you, don't underestimate it. I am the one who knows, and so do my monster friends from my favourite place - Scream Street.

I.B.F.Fs: Walking With Bluey

Long ago, when cavemen ruled, there are four tribes: a normal cave tribe, Outsiders, the Sabre Pride and the Aborigines.

My tribe, which consists of Luke, Resus, Cleo, our parents and our pets Dig and Lulu, has run out of food and always insists the older kids go hunting each day for food, bringing me along. The problem is, every time we try, we lose our kill to the Sabre Pride. This is demonstrated when Luke transforms into a werewolf and tries to hunt a water buffalo, but ends up losing it to SilentStalk, a member of the Sabre Pride. Luke is disappointed, and we are left with no kill as always, until I suggest we go to the jungle to relax.

More will be revealed in this prehistoric adventure, but for now you can check out amazing Kakadu rock art relating to the original source material, Bluey in 'Flat Pack', here:

3D Princess Twilight Sparkle Cake

Thought Celestia eating cake was hilarious enough?
Well, check out in join in with making this cute recipe of a 3D Princess Twilight Sparkle cake! I found this after showing you that Winnie The Pooh cake, so if you want to make this too, that's fine by me.

3D Winnie The Pooh Cake

There I was, looking for recipes for the cherry/Victoria Sponge cake Christopher Robin handed to his friends during the party at the beginning of Christopher Robin to tie in with CBBC's airing of How To Train Your Dragon: Homecoming, when I came across this amazing 3D Winnie The Pooh cake which looked like the Winnie The Pooh that appeared in the Playhouse Disney series The Book Of Pooh. Now all I need to find is a 3D cake of Toothless...
