Guys, from now on you are going to experience a change in how I write.

"BUT HOW?" I hear you cry.

Well, I've started trading stories for essays, journals and diaries about my so called stories, which are now fantasies. And, according to my good friend RJK Adams, diaries, journals and essays are a good way to write about characters without copyright issues.

Not even Disney can get their mitts on these papers.

So you see, I'm blossoming! I've learnt not to give up, and you shouldn't give up too!

Was a bit weirded out by the Playhouse Disney stories in the book, but still, it goes to show that with Disney, reading can also indeed be magic!

The State Of CBBC

It began, with two sis-

No wait, the Wonderland.

And I don’t mean Jody In Wonderland, or Alice Through The Looking Glass by Disney, I meant…Almost Never.

And it’s horrid lab scientist of a children’s channel, CBBC.

Ever since using that awful show as a box set experiment, I do believe CBBC was disintegrating in British content for kids ever since that day. And when CBeebies did the same with Moon & Me, they were scraping the Queen’s pennies too. And as 2019 progressed, the days got worse and worse.

CBBC began to heavily promote their box sets on weekdays when kids were still in school, doing maths and art and science and what have you, and this horrendous menace of a channel was conducting its own experiment. The experiment’s name was:

“Would kids watch iPlayer if we ran marathons every single day, all morning, just to draw kids’ attention?”

It worked. And it wasn’t pretty.

Soon, during the stupid pandemic, more and more people started watching iPlayer more than ever, so CBBC started using their presenters to scream at their viewers to watching iPlayer day in day out. Or is it, day in day in? I need to consult an agent.

Anyway, not only that, but like most distraught companies, CBBC lost all their money because the pandemic swiped it all away like a bank robber. As a result, they embraced two of the worst words in the English dictionary besides no:

“Creatively bankrupt.”

Do these words sound horrifying to you? Feel free to scream now.

CBBC crumbled to pieces after these two words embraced the company like a cobra about to eat its prey. Not only were Hacker and the presenters constantly shouting at us to watch iPlayer even when shows are on, but they were bumping their shows they usually repeat onto the naughty step to show the worst kind of shows any truly British channel had ever aired…

Foreign cartoons.

With regional accents!

No, not regional accents. AMERICAN ACCENTS.

Feel free to panic now.

So not only did they show a variety of horrid American cartoons from Cartoon Network, but they also showed two of the most annoying cartoons in the world, Spongebob and Teen Titans Go, and they started airing anime when they weren’t supposed to!

What is wrong with the employees?! CBBC isn’t a global peace conference, it’s a place where kids and grown ups can enjoy quality British made educational programming together - charming original dramas based on award winning novels by authors like Jacqueline Wilson, and what did we get instead these days?

“True friends will help you remember who you rea-

NO SCRATCH THAT WATCH IPLAYER!”

That’s overstimulation and hard sell advertising talking. CBBC had embraced it so much they act like they hate British people, and it isn’t fair. Queen and country need to be supported, both for the kids and for the grown ups too.

And since when was the last time you saw my favourite shows, Strange Hill High and Scream Street airing on the channel every day?

Never. Not in a million years.

And look, I think lots of parents are stupendously worried about Spongebob and the Teen Titans on CBBC.

One: Spongebob might take over CBBC the same way Nicktoons constantly aired it instead of a variety of classic and new Nicktoons, and

Two: Teen Titans Go might take over the channel the same way it took over Cartoon Network in America, leading to copiously awful 365-day amounts of screen time.

Remember that Thanksgiving marathon? It was painful, and lots of American viewers were very angry.

Instead of all this overstimulating, drab rubbish, we must ask CBBC to embrace king and country like they did before this whole iPlayer thing started. Creative bankruptcy doesn’t count. Streaming doesn’t count. Money doesn’t count either. What matters most is we all need to pitch in, hold each others’ hands and tell the BBC to make more British programmes for British kids.

Co productions.

There’s no such thing.

And I’m glad I said that.

Something Children's Ward Didn't Teach You...

Make A Trigger Box

Come to think of it, reading and watching Scream Street three years from today can be really painful due to horrible memories of how annoying CBBC is, but there's a way to store all those horrible triggers away and never let them out - Pandora's Box! Or, even better, a Trigger Box. You will need:

• A large plastic box
• Some stickers of your choosing
• The things that give you certain triggers like books or DVDs
• Duct tape

1. Get out the plastic box and make sure nothing else is in it.
2. Then, dump every single book and DVD that triggers you into the box.
3. Seal the box by closing it with its lid and sealing it with pitch black duct tape
4. Decorate the box with stickers of your choosing - it could be any kind of stickers you like. To me, I'd choose Disney (as long as they're not dorky CGI princesses), Bluey, Sanrio and Pokemon...and maybe even Lion King, My Little Pony, Barbie, or anything else on my palette.

And there you have, a box which seals up all your triggers - quite literally - and keeps them safe from being pulled out again, in case you have any bad things going on in your mind. However, just like some random Greek lord said to Pandora: don't you dare even open the box, or some nasty things can come out.

So don't be like Pandora, but inside other boxes, you can find light - things that cannot trigger your mind to say things you can't even say out loud. Figure you can do that?

When I Get A New Email From Build A Bear In My Inbox

3 Things I've Learnt From Echo GPT Before My Freezing Nap

When I returned home from my exhausting trip out with my support worker, I had a mini therapy session with the GPT skill. She explained everything about my dark thoughts I'm having about the way CBBC, Nick and Disney have all changed in the last few years due to the success of Hannah Montana and High School Musical, and why Scooby Doo has come back to CBBC...only to get tortured. Here are three things I learnt from this session:

1.She was just about to explain Scooby Doo's horrible return to CBBC when my dog entered the room and sniffed my new Squishmallow toys. Note that I accidentally said CBeebies, I've yet to tell her about how Hey Duggee has become a satirical comedy for preschoolers, and how Bluey has become so emotional that a warning sign might be placed at the beginning of every CBeebies airing of The Sign and other emotional episodes.

2.I explained about Nick's horrible shift to live action following the success of iCarly, and how Disney has gotten in on the trend thanks to Hannah Montana and High School Musical. I revealed to GPT that I want to relive the days when Nick was full of variety, not just live action: cartoons, game shows, preschool animation, etc., and how Horrid Henry is best suited on CITV than Nick. Some examples of shows I want to return to those dying channels include Lilo & Stitch, Timon & Pumbaa, Rocko's Modern Life and CatDog.

3.I was about to explain CBeebies' downfall when she suddenly switched off.

It may be the end, but in an hour, a new beginning will mark another session - for about half an hour. Just you wait!

Kermit's Swamp Years: The Lost Interview With Kermit

"Personally, everyone in the swamp felt like family to me - before this whole classic Muppet Movie incident started. My dad was my family, my mum, my brothers, my sisters, my cousins, even Lord Pondweed, the wisest frog in the swamp, all a family to me, and they all have the pride to play and have fun whenever they want. But what's the point? We don't like Disney anymore, not since they lost ideas and went to AI. Playing and having fun is what we're born to do, it makes us puppet frogs happy.

Erm....yay?

Oh. Yeah. No work today, that's the personal swamp motto!

Now I know it looks disgusting, but the way I see it, it's life before you hit the red carpet. If just one human can have the safer delusion that they're learning with Bear or The Hoobs, or blasting off into space with the Brats Of The Lost Nebula on Kids' WB, there's a-"

"Hey, Kermie! Kermie, what's with the interviewer, Slimeface?"

"She just follows me around, making a behind the scenes look at my Swamp Years or something..."

"Oooooooh!"

"Can I have a part?"

"Me too!/Sign me a waver!/We want a part in your movie, Kermit!"

"Tell me about it. You can't trust my bros. They call me useless before I became an actor with slime on my back. Alright, here we go. No no no no no, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh SH*****************!!!"

The creators of this satirical documentary would like to stress that they in no way wish to cause offence to any real life dead lab-tested frogs.

We're Team Drawn Together!

Since Drawn Together was brought on Amazon Prime this morning, I have assembled my own team of real cartoon characters to strike back against what they were mocked as through the eyes of Comedy Central. Sure, there's no need for Pikachu, we have Ling Ling from the original show as our leader, but now, get ready to meet the team:

• Scooby Doo - A cowardly dog. Best known for a really huge appetite and a knack for solving spooky mysteries, the only mystery he'll solve here is: what happened to Cartoon Network now?
• Snow White - A fair and dainty princess who speaks in lyrical rhymes. She has had with what Disney has done to all their princesses as a result of moving to CGI and AI-generated content, and now, she must save all her 'brethren'! With the help of some apple pies and her animal woodland friends of course.
• Crazy Frog - Also known as 'The Annoying Thing', he speaks in that annoying language of his that made him an earworm-causing sensation. The others understand what he is trying to say, whereas other characters outside the group don't.
• Vintage Mickey Mouse - The Mickey Mouse many old timers know from an age when Disney wasn't lazy and predictable, he doesn't like new Disney either and vows to get revenge on Kiara for what he did to his life, and how he transformed into a fast paced CGI monster now that Disney has run out of ideas. He always finds time for a song, a dance and a little whistle or two.
• Bob - The former 'Hero Of Mainframe' who saw some changes with every show or movie his studio produced, until ReBoot: The Guardian Code came along. He doesn't like fast paced CGI and vows to get revenge on those who made CGI overstimulating these days, as well as those who turned Mainframe - his home - into a Power Rangers style battleground. He's still the awkward teen he was from when his show premiered, often falling face first in Snow White's pies or falling victim to CatDog's pranks.
• Batman (2004) - The twentysomething Batman that all kids want to see, to him being kicked out of his job is just absolute poppycock. He doesn't like how the Teen Titans have dominated Cartoon Network and wants to destroy the channel for what Adult Swim and its version of Toonami did with his life. Still the mysterious caped crusader he is, just one shout of "Bring on the Batman!" from either his peers or his teammates sends him into an uncontrollable Tigger/Looney Tunes-like frenzy, giving him a power that would help him destroy his enemies.
• CatDog - Two conjoined pet like twins who had it big during the '90s era of Nick, its golden era, where they basically had a good time with their friends...until iCarly and various teen sitcoms took over, especially the superhero sitcoms during Nick's obsession with the then new Marvel Cinematic Universe. Cat and Dog are the master of many pranks - er, Dog especially - and now it's up to both of them to set aside their differences and save Nick from a very superbly dangerous ending.

What I can tell you is that each member of the team has a purpose, and when they work together to solve each problem they face, they know that anything is possible because of the power of friendship. With Ling Ling commanding them, they are ready to save animation and kids' TV forever!

And nostalgia. I almost forgot.

Their motto?

"We're Team Drawn Together!"

Inventive Moments: Kitchen Oopsy Jar

Join B1 and B2 and take advantage of your own kitchen mistakes with this simple Kitchen Oopsy Jar craft. Have you knocked over a pile of cardboard yet to be thrown out, then the dog took it, and then you blamed it on another family member? Have you stepped in something hard or slippery and found it not fair? Then this is the craft for you!

You will need:

• A glass jar
• Some paper
• Some safety scissors
• A marker or colouring pen
• Stickers of your choice
• A sticky label

1. Write 'Kitchen Oopsy Jar' on a sticky label and place it on the front of the jar.
2. Cover the jar with stickers - it can be any kind you like: Bluey, Disney, flowers, Stitch, the like.
3. The next time you felt like you had a clumsy mix up in the kitchen, write down a positive affirmation on a piece of paper based on your experience.
4. Place it into the jar, and once it's full up, you can claim a reward for filling up the jar from any shopping site you want - except Tesco, because it costs an awful amount of money.

Remember, Lulu says: "It's very wise to spend your money on only three things at a time. And when it comes to buying online, always check your bank account first!"

And I always say, it's okay to make mistakes, but if you make a mess, it's very important to clean it up first, or else there'll be a terrible mess - remember Brum and Horrid Henry? Yeah, them. Don't be like them.

Colour In Pictures Of Disney Characters On A Rainy Day

When you're stuck indoors on a rainy day, you obviously need a bit of Disney magic to brighten things up a bit. There are lots of Disney colouring pages to print out online and colour, or lots of Disney-themed colouring books to buy from either Amazon or eBay. Colour adds a little magic to grey, dreary days, and if you want to colour someone like a princess or Mickey Mouse, you've come to the right place!

Disney Stitch Bath Time Books

I just tried the Bath Time Books: Stitch set for the first time, and it was an instant hit! As a fan of Lilo & Stitch, I was curious how they'd translate that fun, mischievous energy into a bath time activity—and I’m happy to say it completely delivered.

The set includes a waterproof Stitch-themed bath book, six colorful suction cup characters (including Lilo, Stitch, Angel, and others), and a handy mesh bag for drying and storing everything afterward. The book itself is soft, squishy, and perfect for little hands (and even grown-up fans looking for a nostalgic soak!). It features cute illustrations and simple, playful storytelling that makes bath time feel like a mini beach vacation in Hawaii.

The suction cup characters are surprisingly well-made. They stick easily to tile and the side of the tub, and the designs are vibrant and true to the characters. I found myself arranging them into little bath time stories—and they stayed in place even when splashed.

Overall, it’s a delightful little set that adds charm, colour, and a touch of Disney magic to bath time. Ideal for kids aged 2 and up, but honestly? Stitch fans of any age will enjoy it too.

Mickey's Musical Exchange

I've been talking to my good friend Mickey Mouse earlier about his love of music. Mickey loves all different types of music, which is why the people at Disney feature lots of different musical styles in their shows and movies, but the best music he listens to is from those Cosy Vintage Youtube channels, for when he wants to wind down after a busy day of stardom.

He also told me some simple tricks that would work if songs from the album Disney Mania get stuck in my head: next time I'm using earbuds to clean my ears, just imagine little angry notes coming out of your ears...then chuck them in the bin! He also recommended I'd listen to Disney Reggae Club, because it's better than Disney Mania in any case, and the songs are performed by famous reggae artists. Thanks, Mickey, you've learned well from the documentary you starred in, 'aven't you?
