Earlier I was watching the Zenimation episode 'Nature'. One of the clips, and my personal favourite, was seeing Kenai and Koda from Brother Bear riding on mammoths. Kenai has a hopeful look on his face as he is nursing Koda, and as we pan out to reveal the Northern Lights, we see Sitka's spirit, an eagle, watching them. Seeing Kenai this way promotes hoping and feeling for others, as one of the messages in Brother Bear is 'feel through another's heart'. Zenimation not only calms and unwinds, but also silently brings forth messages without verbally expressing them that we can all take to heart, such as hope, inclusivity, kindness, understanding others' feelings, family, sacrifice and more. It's not just Zenimation who'll calm kids and help them understand mindfulness. Youtube is getting in on the mindfulness craze too, with episodes of well-known shows and songs and films that promote feelings and understanding. With these, you'll be just like Kenai during the clip, or any other Disney character.

We Interrupt Lagging For A Toilet Break - An Apology
I couldn't do Lagging because my stomach was gurgling like an out-of-control sewer and I had to dash to the bathroom, because doing what I do naturally is more important than seeing a bunch of gamers. To pass the time while you're waiting for the next ep, engage in this jigsaw which is a way to get Team Smorcle into classical, real gaming.
The Happiness Project - 2021 - 31.8.21
To help children get a better understanding of their emotions and feelings, I did a Zenimation quiz.
One Line A Day - 2021 - 31.8.21
I did a quiz based on Zenimation, designed to help promote wellbeing and understanding feelings and emotions.
Express Yourself - 31.8.21
I made a quiz based on Zenimation to help children understand the feelings and emotions of Disney characters.
Zenimation Quiz
The printable Zenimation Quiz is a work in progress, but you're free to look around.
This quiz promotes social emotional wellbeing in both kids and adults. They watch Zenimation’s episodes on Disney+ and talk about how the characters feel and what they heard and saw in each clip. They then answer the questions below to figure out what they think they saw in the clip, the differences between the original source material and the Zenimation version and think about how the characters feel throughout each clip. This activity encourages not only wellbeing, but also an understanding of different feelings and emotions.
