Orko's Vacation

(Furaha, Orko, Kiburi and Ua are outside the house. Orko is carrying a knapsack over his shoulder, ready for his trip to Australia.)

KIBURI: Go on, Furaha. Say goodbye.

(Furaha steps up to Orko)

FURAHA: Orko, why do you have to leave?

ORKO: I'm not leaving, Furaha, I'm going on vacation to live with your Aunt Marnie in Australia. I'll be your cousin, Furaha.

FURAHA: Will you take lots of photos?

ORKO: I sure will.

FURAHA: But...what if you don't make it?

ORKO: It'll always be me who looks out for you inside, Furaha. No matter where you go, how many friends you make or what you do, you'll always be my little sister.

FURAHA: And you'll always be my big brother, right?

ORKO: I will.

(Furaha and Orko hug tight, crying)

UA: Look at the time! You'll miss your plane if you don't hurry up.

ORKO: Oh! I'd best head off. Goodbye everyone - and thank you, Furaha!

FURAHA/KIBURI/UA: Goodbye Orko!

FURAHA: Thank you, Orko!

(Orko sets off into the sunset. Furaha begins to cry, huddled by her father's side. Fade into the living room, where Ua and Kiburi comfort and crying Furaha)

KIBURI: It's okay, my little Majuju flower, we'll see him again soon.

UA: Do you think you can manage more future adventures on your own?

FURAHA: Yeah....yeah.

KIBURI: That's the spirit. And you still have your puppy, Rocky.

(Rocky leaps up to Furaha and licks her. She laughs in delight)

UA: Get down, Rocky.

KIBURI: Good boy! Now, Furaha, do you know why I brought this box out?

FURAHA: I think I know why - Orko put his medallion in so I can wear it might he go away.

KIBURI: You got that right, Furaha. I'm letting you wear it just in case you miss him. And you have that picture of you and Orko near your big bed, right?

FURAHA: Yeah.

KIBURI: You can talk to him...

(In Furaha's bedroom, Furaha is talking to Orko in the picture of her and Orko)

FURAHA: ...every night, and we'll always Zoom call each other. Someday, we'll be married and have hideous hybrid abominations of our own. Promise?

Silence.

FURAHA: Yeah. I promise.

(Furaha turns off the light and drifts off to sleep.)

Luxurious Rain - Part 1: Storm Clouds

Deep grey storm clouds were beginning to cover the bright blue sky as rumbles of thunder echoed through the valley, into the meadow where Furaha and her friends were wandering - her brother Orko and their friends Optimus Prime, Wizardmon and Gatomon. “It looks like it’s going to rain,” said Gatomon, holding out her long-clawed paw. “Of course it is. Rain is like the tears of heaven coming down to nourish our dry, cracked land when it needs it most.” said Optimus, “But now that grey clouds are covering the sky, we couldn’t just shelter from it. We must enjoy it. Have fun with it. Experience our freedom and lives in this unique shower of beauty.” Furaha and Orko on the other hand were getting a bit excited. They’ve had fun in the rain before, and they knew a rainy day meant wet play all the time.

Now, in this cosy little forest there is a cosy little luxury house, belonging to a little wizard named Orko. He spends all his days playing alone, poor thing. He had a really soft and cuddly sofa, he had a comfortable bed and a jacuzzi to relax in, but he never really had the time to spend time with others. He sat alone every day thinking to himself, “What if I really had someone to be my friend?” And sometimes he never went out when thoughts of having a friend filled his head. Or maybe yet, a family! But one rainy night, that was all about to change…

Orko's Baby - Part 1: Meet Orko

Once upon a time, there was a little village unlike your’s or mine, full of friendly people and lots of fresh green grass in the gardens. In that village is a particular little house - all red with an orange door, a blue knocker, round windows, and a yellow star-shaped mailbox. In this house lives a little wizard called Orko, who is a stay-at-home kind of person who loves to spend his time performing magic by himself in his study. His spells backfired like always, but some of them always worked. One time he wanted to butter his toast for breakfast, he asked the knife to butter the bread. And guess what? It did! However, Orko was feeling very lonely, and wanted to start a family. At any time whether he’s in the bath, in bed, in the kitchen eating dinner or in his studies, he sat in silence, thinking about starting a family of his own. But he had no wife, so what was the problem? Then, came the night the wishing star sparkled in the sky like a thousand diamonds.

Welcome to Vortex, a place for cubs without parents. Although these deserving cubs don’t have parents in this world, they are free to roam and learn to survive for themselves. But how do they get there, do you ask? Well, when their parents die and they’re left alone, a portal opens nearby leading to said world, and the cub enters. However, there’s one catch - to avoid memories of their past catching up to them, their memories are wiped clean the moment they enter the portal. For Vortex is a world apart from our own, and there is one rule: there is no talking about your horrible past. If you do, you don’t say anything at all, and no word of your former life comes out of your mouth. But in this world, there is a way. There is somewhere to put the past in the past and live in the present. Somewhere, where you can run free.

I WISH I could watch this series on Netflix if I had it. Why, if I had Netflix, I could do whatever I want! Watch whatever I want, I mean, because this is one of the shows I want to watch: Snack Vs Chef. It's a cooking competition involving chefs making their own snacks such as Kitkats, Oreos, crisps and Ho Hos - they're all delicious and thrilling for you, but be careful. If you have an itchy bum or a sugar crash, I'd recommend you'd not watch it 'til lunch time.

What A Beautiful World We Share - Part 1: Nature

Nature, for its primeval ways, can be so beautiful in most cases. Among swaying green grass, lusciously lazy rivers and comfortable clouds which form shapes in the sky, there’s a meaning in every single thing we come across. Every single rock. Tree. Bird. Beast. Our rains fall for the nature that is around us. Because for us, being outside can mean happiness and life, for our lives are swiftly pulling us away from our technological modern life and bringing us to a world of beautiful places untouched by man, woman, lion, Digimon, Autobot or Trollan wizard. This story lets us take a look into the lives of five friends as they explore the beauty and power that nature brings to us humans, or rather, maybe, in a sense, makes it its playground.
