@jackieterrier - Scooby Doo

As well as our world famous army game, Rusty and I love to play at solving a Scooby Doo mystery with Coco, Indy and Pretzel joining in. Rusty and I are Shaggy and Fred, Coco and Indy are Daphne and Velma and Pretzel makes a good Scooby. He can even impersonate him! And you can play along too.

Find two boys and two girls in the playground to play Scooby's meddling friends. Make sure you have sandwiches, crisps, biscuits and a box of juice on hand, because you're going to be Scooby Doo!

Ask people around the playground for clues on what the monster you're tracking down did to disturb the peace. Ask the grownups too if you want!

When you do see the monster, engage in a wild chase scene with lots of distractions, like pretending to be a fortune teller or Santa for instance.

When you find the monster, unmask him and cry out the real person's name together. Let him or her say the famous catchphrase: "And I would've gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling kids!"

When you've finally finished your mission, have a snack at the bench. Raise a toast, and call out Scooby Doo's famous catchphrase: "Scooby Dooby DOO!"

There's a lot more things to do and enjoy in your life than you can imagine, and just by going out and enjoying it, you'll become the fullest person I've ever met in my entire life. So cookies don't count as the only thing you can enjoy - there's more. Go out and enjoy it!

Daily Dose Of Such Fun - After Carsickness

Ah, the joy of a day spent entirely in bed. Yesterday may have been all wobbly tummies and carsick mutterings, but today? Today is a duvet kingdom. No guilt, no rush, just you, pillows, and perhaps a biscuit or three that somehow find their way under the covers. You can line up your favourite shows (Thunderbirds or a Bluey marathon, if you fancy), keep a notebook by your side in case a funny thought pops up, and bask in the luxury of not moving unless it’s for tea.

The best part? Staying in bed makes the whole world shrink to a manageable size—just soft sheets, gentle entertainment, and the knowledge that no one is judging you for wearing pyjamas until bedtime again. It’s not laziness, it’s recovery with flair.

Such fun.

Miranda's Daily Dose Of Such Fun - When You're Carsick

Well now. You’ve been out gallivanting with the support worker, all very exciting, all very “ooh look at me, in a moving vehicle, practically a stuntwoman,” and then—WHAM—carsick. Not the glamorous, windswept outing you’d pictured. More… green. Wobbly. Less of a Bond girl, more of a gone girl.

So here’s the plan. First, slippers on. Not fancy ones, mind you—slippers that look like they’ve survived several wars. The floppier the better. Then you position yourself on the sofa in what I call “the nest.” Blanket? Yes. Cushion fortress? Absolutely. Dog Mylo in attendance? Mandatory.

Snack? We’re keeping it gentle. No pickled onions, thank you very much. A nice plain biscuit. Perhaps two, if you’re feeling daring. And a mug of something hot that makes you sigh audibly when you drink it.

Entertainment is simple: nothing spinny, nothing zoomy. We are talking Bluey, Pooh Bear, or a comforting Captain Scarlet rerun—because if anyone can keep you steady after carsickness, it’s a man in an indestructible suit.

And then—best bit—you simply allow yourself to do nothing. Marvel at the sheer genius of your body for saying, “You know what? I’m tired of zooming about. Nest time, please.” Cosy nights in: the true glamour. Such fun.

Terrahawks 'The Sporilla' Teaser

Sgt. Major Zero: Well, well, well. Look who's sittin' pretty on the porch of power. That's right—me. Sergeant Major Zero. Not Zelda, not Ninestein, not even Mary Falconer with her perfectly combed hair. And definitely not those other tin-headed excuses for Zeroids. I matter more than all of them because I care. Who looks after Biscuits, eh? Who makes sure he doesn't roll off into a star drive or drink Mary’s milk again? Me. That’s who. Poor little fella’s got autism, and I’ll be jiggered if anyone else understands him like I do. And since I’m the only one with sense around here, I’ve taken bold action. That’s right—I tied up Dr. Ninestein so I can decide which episodes of Terrahawks come next. No more lectures, no more science talk. Just pure, proper programming... chosen by me!

Dr. Ninestein: mmph! mmmphh!

Kate Kestrel: Good riddance, you stupid "fearless leader"!

Mary Falconer: Honestly, it’s kind of peaceful without him shouting.

Lt. Hiro: Should we... untie him?

Kate Kestrel: Nah. Let Zero have his moment.

[Terrahawks logo appears]

Voiceover: Tonight at 6PM. Only on the Gerry Anderson YouTube channel. Be there... or Biscuits will drink your milk.

Embracing Pure Joy

Yesterday, during my routine visit to the hairdresser, I encountered a moment of unexpected delight that warmed my heart and stirred my imagination. As I waited patiently for my turn, a charming Noddy colouring book caught my eye, resting gracefully on a nearby table. Its playful illustrations and vibrant scenes reminded me of simpler times filled with creative wonder and carefree joy. Along with the colouring book, a small plate of delicious biscuits was offered, a thoughtful treat that added a comforting sweetness to the experience. In that brief interlude, the ordinary transformed into an adventure of creativity and gentle pleasure, inspiring me to record these moments in my cherished Happiness Journal. This encounter not only brightened my day but also reaffirmed my belief in the magic found in everyday surprises and the beauty of life's little treasures. This simple, unexpected moment filled me with hope, creative energy, and inspired.

The Noddy colouring book itself proved to be a delightful portal to a realm of imagination. Its pages, brimming with familiar characters and playful landscapes, beckoned me to rediscover the art of colouring without boundaries. Each illustration invited me to explore bold hues and soft pastels, allowing my mind to wander freely and reconnect with a part of myself often left behind in the rush of daily life. As I contemplated the images, I remembered the innocent joy of scribbling outside the lines during childhood, a time when every stroke was an expression of pure creativity. The simple act of choosing a colour and filling a space brought a surprising sense of calm and satisfaction. This small, unexpected treasure reminded me that creativity is not reserved for grand projects but is available in every gentle moment we experience. It rekindled a cherished belief in the limitless power of pure imagination.

Complementing the delightful colouring book was an equally heartwarming treat: a plate of freshly baked biscuits served at the hairdresser’s. Each biscuit, with its delicate crunch and subtle sweetness, felt like a warm embrace in the midst of a busy day. The aroma alone was enough to transport me back to comforting memories of home and family kitchens, where treats were shared and moments savored. Every bite was a reminder that life’s simple pleasures often come in the form of small, unexpected gifts. The biscuits, offered with genuine care, not only satisfied my taste buds but also nourished my spirit. In that moment, the combination of a creative escape through colouring and the comforting taste of a biscuit created a perfect harmony of indulgence and simplicity, deepening my appreciation for everyday kindness and thoughtfulness. This moment reminded me that small acts of kindness brighten our days and nurture our souls.

One of the most striking reflections in my Happiness Journal emerged from a tribute to the Thunderbirds’ 60th anniversary. In a burst of imaginative creativity, I envisioned two scenarios that redefined the familiar characters in unexpected ways. In the first scenario, Brains, the ingenious mastermind behind the Thunderbirds, was depicted wandering the vast desert in a state of complete liberation. Unclothed and unburdened by societal expectations, he roamed the sun-drenched dunes, his bare skin absorbing the warmth of the golden sand. Every step he took echoed a profound freedom and an embrace of nature’s raw beauty. The expansive desert, with its infinite horizons and whispering winds, became a metaphor for breaking free from the constraints of conventional life. In the second scenario, I reimagined Tin Tin as a wild spirit, living ferociously in the heart of a lush, untamed jungle. Stripped of the trappings of modern civilization, Tin Tin existed in a state of pure, natural being. Roaming the verdant jungle, she embodied the essence of a natural woman, harmoniously attuned to the rhythms of the earth. Her untamed existence was a celebration of life’s primal energy and a reminder that liberation sometimes comes from shedding the layers imposed by society. These vivid images, though fantastical, were imbued with a sense of joy and unbridled creativity that resonated deeply with me. They captured the essence of living authentically, embracing one’s inner wildness, and finding beauty in simplicity. This creative exercise not only honored the legacy of a beloved classic but also served as an inspiring reminder to cherish and nurture our most genuine selves. In writing these imaginative scenarios, I allowed my mind to wander and celebrate a playful vision of freedom. This tribute, full of wonder and delight, rejuvenated my spirit and expanded my creative horizons beyond all limits.

Reflecting on these intertwined moments of creativity and comfort, I am filled with a deep sense of gratitude and renewed wonder for life. The discovery of a cherished colouring book, the taste of delightful biscuits, and the vivid, liberating images of Brains and Tin Tin all came together to form a tapestry of joyful experiences. Each element reminded me that happiness is often found in the simplest of encounters and that every day holds the potential for unexpected inspiration. As I write in my Happiness Journal, I honor these moments by embracing both the playful and the profound aspects of my journey. The imaginative tribute to the Thunderbirds not only celebrated a beloved classic but also encouraged me to break free from routine and explore the world with a fresh, unencumbered spirit. In the quiet pauses of everyday life, there lies an opportunity to rediscover creativity, to taste the sweetness of a simple treat, and to find magic in the unexpected. I hold these memories close, allowing them to inspire my steps forward. With a heart full of hope and a mind eager for new adventures, I move through life cherishing each small wonder as a precious gift, confident that every day can be as beautiful and inspiring as the one I experienced at the hairdresser’s. These reflections empower me to cherish every fleeting moment, reminding me that beauty is omnipresent and life is a continuous celebration of joy.

The Biscuit Ballad (short film)

When Monty sees a jar of biscuits and cake on the counter in the BBC Kids kitchen, he can't help but bring out a violin and sing to it to say how much he loves it, accompanied by images of him playing the violin and flying with floating biscuits and cakes against a pink background patterned with red love hearts.
