I had an ECG, or a Sticky Gecko Moment, at the doctor's and I was calm and balanced.

One Line A Day - 2021 - 21.9.21
I had an ECG scan for the first time and I got snappy crocodiles placed on my skin.
Express Yourself - 21.9.21
I went for an ECG scan at the doctor's. Hooked up to all these wires, I feel like Eleven from Stranger Things!

ZOLTAN: Anything new up your sleeve?
RENFIELD: Not yet, Zoltan. Ha-ha-ha-ha, just kidding, there is something! Sybil experienced two amazing things today and yesterday!
ZOLTAN: Okay, tell me about it.
RENFIELD: First, she went into Libby's house and showed her Zenimation - not to mention her little experiment - and Mickey Mouse on Disney+! She then baked cakes in the shape of little dinosaurs and ate popcorn.
ZOLTAN: Mmmmm, baby. Crunchy squeaky popcorn.
RENFIELD: And I just peered into her room last night. I know she had a rough night, but listen: I saw in her Animals & You mag that there are pictures of dogs on it.
ZOLTAN: UUUUAAAARRRRGH!
RENFIELD: Don't be jealous, I can handle it. But did you also know that she when for an ECG?
ZOLTAN: An ECG? What's that?
RENFIELD: It's when someone hooks you up to watch your heart rate, much like Eleven from Stranger Things.
ZOLTAN: You need to know that Stranger Things is one of Ingrid's favourite shows to binge-watch on Netflix.
RENFIELD: Mine too. So, you out there, watch this episode of Young Dracula! Mind you, words will fly from my mouth at you very fast.
Kids' Specials That Celebrate Diversity
Sesame Street teaches perseverence, mindfulness and the alphabet. Arthur teaches us about friendship, getting along with others and differences. Sometimes, being different is okay, but when you're either black or white, trying to teach kids about racism is all that matters. With kids' characters like Elmo, Big Bird and Arthur, we can all do our bit to stop the torment and live in harmony.
Spidey Celebrates Halloween!
Recent guides for Disney+ on Halloween encourage you to watch the WandaVision episode 'All New Halloween Spectacular', which is somehow a spoof of Malcolm In The Middle, what with quick flashbacks and Wanda's two sons talking to us about their first Halloween, like Malcolm in the original show. WELL PUSH THAT ASIDE! To get this out of your head, there's a new Spidey episode just in time for Halloween - a proper Marvel Halloween trick or treat rescue featuring the lovable Disney Junior Marvel star Spider Man and his friends as they try to stop the Green Goblin ruining Halloween! You think that's a treat? Don't worry, there's more!
Minnie's Friend
Two new Mickey Mouse specials are coming this October and December, and they're not part of either Roadster Racers or Mixed Up Adventures. They feature Minnie and Daisy proceeding in Luella's footsteps (maybe you'll see her again on CBBC sometime soon!) and Mickey and the gang separated before Christmas. It'll be a joy to watch, even better than the new series of Bluey that aired on Disney Junior in the USA last year!
Bluey Outdoor Scavenger Hunt
It's such a lovely day that it's time for a Bluey scavenger hunt. Can you find Grandad, the Terriers and other fun characters from Bluey? Only you'll find out with this printable activity!
Nookie Bitesize - Find Out About Performing Arts In China
Today we're heading to Asia to learn all about Chinese theatre. Whether stage, storytelling or puppetry, the traditional culture has been passed down from generation to generation, and you are the first to see it!
A Sticky Gecko Moment
Today I had my first ECG. The nurses were really careful and gentle, and I did some deep breathing before I went in so that was good. I relaxed and breathed heavily while they sorted out the problems with the paper on the echocardiogram printer, and then I was allowed to take the things that I was attached to off, named 'crocodiles'. I told the nurse all about Bluey and Scream Street, and imagined I was Eleven from Stranger Things, except I'm not with those special powers. I did so well, and Mum even promised another Beanie Boo! Now, what's an echocardiogram, you ask? This educational video will help you get over your fear.
I Didn't Do Me, You, And Transformers Robots In Disguise...
...to make up for it, hear these pleasureful cries of agony from following Transformers series. You'll thank me for this...
