A Mighty Atom-Inspired Story

One Summer's day on Tracy Island, Lady Penelope was relaxing on the balcony with a glamorous fashion magazine and a cold cocktail drink in her hand. It was one of those days where I never bothered to sneak up on her, because I was playing with Alan and the others...or did I?

Yes I did. I snuck onto the balcony whilst Lady Penelope wasn't looking, and crawled on the balcony floor to where her feet were. Once I saw them, I knew the time had come. I took off her sandals and proceeded to tickle her smooth, soft feet. At once, Lady Penelope awoke and laughed out loud. I kept tickling as Lady Penelope shrieked with hysterical laughter. "Oh you little devil! It was you!" she screamed, not able to contain her laughter. In all the excitement she dropped her magazine and her drink all over the floor, the magazine got soaked.

I ran up to her and proceeded to tickle her tummy, to which she cried "NO! STOP! Please, I succumb to your tickles!" "Oh yeah? Well you'll be sorry you even had to witness me alone!" "How about this?!" shouted Penelope, and she grabbed me and began to tickle my tummy. I screamed and tried to run away, but Penelope pulled me back and tickled me harder, causing me to scream with laughter. She then lifted me high into the air, saying a lot of cutesy things in baby talk, while I continued laughing. Once I had calmed down, she nose kissed me, and then hugged me, as only a mother can. I felt soothed by Penelope's hugs so much that I snuggled into her chest, listening to her heartbeat from deep inside.

"Er...Penelope," I asked finally, "What about Brains, Alan and Tin Tin?" Lady Penelope looked over into the lounge. There, on the sofa, were Brains, Alan and Tin Tin, all fast asleep without a sound. Penelope smiled. "Don't worry about them," she said gently, "When they wake up, they won't know what's even hit them, what with you playing with me and what not." Once again, we shared a soft, gentle hug, and my eyes started to grow tired.

I yawned softly and snuggled into Penelope's chest, feeling very tired. My small hands stroked Penelope's silk shirt, feeling how soft and gentle it was. Lady Penelope kissed me goodnight and fell asleep on her chair, with me snuggled against her, as the sun set on another beautiful day.
