Face Painting

Lady Penelope, Parker and I were at a Halloween fair at the farm one late night. I was dressed as a princess, Parker a king and Penelope was a princess too. Among all the stalls and lights, I spotted Mackenzie's mum painting Bingo's face to look like a tiger. Once she had finished, Bingo came running towards me. "Hi, Sybil!" cried Bingo, "My Halloween costume was old and tattered, so I went to have my face painted instead." "Face paints, eh?" I asked, "Well I think I should try it out for a change." I ran up to Mackenzie's mum. "Hey Mackenzie's Mum, is there any chance you can paint my face to make me a butterfly?" "Hmmmm...I don't see why not," said Mackenzie's mum, and just like that, she began painting my face in bright rainbow colours, until...

...I was a pretty pink butterfly princess. "Oh wow!" gasped Bingo, her eyes wide with delight. "You look amazing!" And when Lady Penelope and Parker arrived to see me, they were amazed too, and agreed that I am the best butterfly princess ever to be found this side of this year's Halloween festivities. Penelope swooped me up in her arms and hugged me. "Oh, Sybil," she sighed, "No matter what you look like, you'll always be my little butterfly princess." "And you will always be my queen," I smiled, nose kissing her. Suddenly, Muffin came barging in, followed by Uncle Stripe, Aunt Trixie and Socks. "I WANT MY FACE PAINTED TO BE A UNICORN!" she cried, "Socks ripped up my Halloween costume!"
