My Favourite Part Of 2020

Some of you are calling 2020 a difficult year, but not me. I've experienced the highs and lows of lockdown, made up new stories, use my imagination and make some new friends, including Bluey, Bingo, Dog, Pug, Love Monster, Tiniest Fluffiest Bunny, Nothing, Hover, Feather...
....and my most favourite friends of all, Luke, Resus and Cleo. My favourite part of 2020 is the last week of October, when I got to see Luke, Resus and Cleo's return to CBBC, when Six was introduced during a game of Monsterball, when green goo came out of Mr. Watson's eyes during a sexy trip to Otto's spa, when Cleo cried for the first time, when Wolfgang made a return and Luke's duplicate represented birth.

No matter what happens in the future, or in 2021, I promise you, SCREAM STREET LIVES!!!

Makka Pakka Gets Lost

The other day I saw a Night Garden episode starring my mum's favourite character, Makka Pakka, a 4-year-old/alien/teddy bear hybrid who's always busy cleaning faces and trundling his Og-Pog around the garden, speaking a friendly caveman-like stone language and clapping his little hands. My favourite part in this episode is seeing Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy and the Tombliboos waving down to Makka Pakka from the Pinky Ponk to help him guide the way back to his home, which was once a dry river.

Shush Ninjas - A Guide To Why You Should Bring Autistic Kids To An Autism Friendly Cinema Screening

I think this afternoon's 'We Bare Bears' episode, 'Shush Ninjas', is a great example of bringing autistic children and adults to the cinema. There might be Shush Ninjas for every occasion - noisy shops, loud neighbourhoods, shrill places of amusement like soft play centres and pizza restaurants, etc.. My favourite scene in the entire episode was the bears in spoof scenes of popular movies, through a montage. With the bears' help, find out about autism-friendly cinema screenings:

Then, if your autistic child or adult is too shy to or hasn't been to the cinema before, you can host a family movie night with We Bare Bears themed decorations. You can theme it around the montage of the bears in various films, or decorate your home with We Bare Bears themed decorations.

How To Host A New Years' Eve Pirate Party At Home

Tonight on CBeebies at 4:20PM, Swashbuckle is hosting a pirate party with lots of CBeebies stars, kind of like a follow up to I Can Cook On The Go's 'Funky Beet Muffin & Surprise Party' episode starring Dr. Ranj and Mister Maker. Find out more here:

Make Sleepover Night New Years' Eve Strawberry Punch

We know that Love Monster and Tiniest Fluffiest Bunny love hot chocolate and carrot juice on sleepovers, but Book Cub loves strawberry punch when she sleeps over. Make strawberry punch just in time for New Years' Day with Love Monster!

Make A Scrapbook Based Around My Favourite TV Characters

2020 was a year of great difficulty, but it was also a time to make new friends and keep the old - Luke, Resus, Cleo, Love Monster, Tiniest Fluffiest Bunny, Dog, Pug, Bluey, Bingo, Nothing, Hover and Feather. It's time to make a scrapbook of your own, with each page based around their adventures - you can theme each two pages to each episode.
