When it comes to ideas for softer, snugglier stories of fanfics, a ring of velvety ribbon is just what you need to see yourself through.
You will need:
- A notebook or journal
- Some velvet ribbons of all colours
- Felt pens, crayons, non-bleed markers or ballpoint pens
- Stickers (if you have any)
- Mess free glue stick
First of all, cut two strips of velvet ribbon no matter what the colour and stick them at the top and bottom of both pages of the chosen spread in the notebook or journal. The kind of story depends on the colour you choose - if it's set in the clouds, use pink, purple or yellow. If it's set in nature, use green or blue or brown. If it's full of desire and tenderness, use black, white or gold. If it's cosy and comforting, use yellows, reds and oranges.
Get out a felt pen, marker, crayon or ballpoint pen and write down what silky soft ideas for your stream of conciousness story you have between both ribbons you stuck at the top and the bottom of the page. Afterwards, decorate the blank spots you left out with stickers - anything really, from MLP to Doctor Who to Thunderbirds, even though the idea is soft, velvety and snuggly.
Who knew velvet could be so useful after all eh? Heh!
Okay, that's not very soft enough, but whatever happens, I'm sure you will find softness wherever you go, whatever your idea for a story may be.
