The Queen's Christmas Pageant

The Queen's Christmas Pageant is a poem I'm going to work on someday. Here's how the poem is structured.
The Queen hosts a royal pageant outside of Buckingham Palace, with soldiers marching, parade floats and buses riding past excited crowds, and children's characters riding and waving on a platform surrounding giant building blocks and Christmas decorations. At last, a wave of confetti bursts out from a giant bauble as Father Christmas appears, waving at everyone and calling "Merry Christmas!"

Later, the Queen and the rest of the royal family prepare for Christmas. They eagerly await Father Christmas' arrival by putting out mince pies, milk and carrots for him and his reindeer. As the younger members of the royal family sleep, they hear Father Christmas putting presents for them under the tree downstairs. They turn over and go back to sleep. The next morning, excitement fills the palace as everyone unwraps their presents, especially the children who get lovely toys - the princes action figures, and the princesses teddy bears. This proves to be the best Christmas ever for the Queen and her family.

What CBBC Should've Aired - Under The Stars

Now's your chance to find out!
