For Every Child
Tonight's lullaby is for a delicate cause - for babies all over the world who have the need to live their lives to the full.
The Moment Oddness Came Into The World
Back before CBBC introduced Odd Squad, PBS introduced the oddness first. While many viewers were waving goodbye and hoping for another playdate with their primate friend Curious George and his guardian, The Man In The Yellow Hat, four unusual kids tried to move the PBS Kids and Odd Squad logos out of the way. The cycle of evolution never ends, even when there's one word that defines surreal - odd. Especially when you wear your Odd Squad uniforms every single episode.
Three Types Of Storytelling/I.B.F.Fs' New Focus
From now on, I'll present my books/stories in three different ways:
- Written, like all stories should
- Dialogue-free picture books, like my first I.B.F.Fs book, Comfort: Big Siblings: Little Sister
- Versions of the dialogue-free books to help readers learn to write stories
With these, I'll open up my story world to the different types of readers, especially those who are deaf and can't hear their peers read the book, and who want to become budding writers themselves and write their own words of dialogue into my stories.
And as for I.B.F.Fs, it'll take a whole new approach: it'll still have characters from Scream Street, Bluey, Simon, Love Monster, Dog Loves Books and My Pride, but now it'll have the focus on Luke, Resus and Cleo being my siblings and their parents being part of my family, along with Dig and Lulu. The theme of I.B.F.Fs is the relationship between big kids and little kids and the gentleness, fun, playfulness and kindness that comes along with it, especially if those little kids happen to have older, teenage siblings.
And I'll still do the I.B.F.F Diaries stories, it'll start on October 2015, where I meet Luke, Resus and Cleo and allow them and my friends Mitchell, Becky and Templeton to become my siblings - if they can allow a permit.
Blue Peter: Together We'll Crack It
This week's Blue Peter challenge is a perfect example of crime in the British public. In case of such a challenging example of such a serious subject, only we can prevent crime, and that means not getting Lindsey and the other Blue Peter presenters arrested for dangerous things like drugs and violence, which only careless people intend to do. Learn to prevent crime the Blue Peter way:

Little Baby - PBS Kids Version
If I were living in the US and seeing this, I'd think about getting Elizabeth Mitchell to cover the song. She's a children's singer whose songs got featured on Putumayo CDs. REMEMBER! Watch with a soft toy or someone in your home, UK viewers!
Teletubbies On PBS Kids
A long time ago, PBS Kids was the US home of the Teletubbies, which means everything looked and sounded different, including the narrator. This episode you're about to see, 'Numbers - 8', still means it retained the kind of montage format that would be later used for shows like Yakka Dee, except it's made for PBS Kids. UK viewers be warned: nothing will EVER be the same once you view this video, so it's best you get someone living in your home, or a soft toy if no one lives in the same house as you, to watch it with you. Are you ready to see milkmen, buses, apples and bin men divided into eight? I bet you are! Get watching!
Pusheen Cafe
Pusheen is a cat who loves to dream and fills his life with rainbows and clouds and stars and everything. Did you know there's a cafe themed around this popular cat? You can dine and have sweet treats as you are surrounded by the dreams and wonder of this cute, very pudgy, grey cat. Click here to find out more:
Drawing Manga Characters
Now that they've put up a tutorial on how to draw She-Ra on the CBBC website, last year I put a video on my blog demonstrating how to draw an anime character. So, since I associate She-Ra with Japanese anime, why don't you turn the princess of Eternia into an anime character? First, visit the CBBC website for a tutorial:
Then watch this video below to learn how to draw an anime character, so you can learn how to draw She-Ra in this style. You have the power!
Great News For True Blueys!
I have some exciting news for all you Bluey fans over in the US viewing my blog - there'll be new episodes of the one, the only, the show-stealing, the Puppy Dog Pals-slamming, BLUEY on Disney Channel! Woohoo!! More exciting than new episodes of Scream Street on CBBC, or Dog Loves Books on CBeebies, over in the US, Bluey fans are excitedly waiting to see the adventures of Bluey as she gets Dad off the seesaw, goes to the cinema and goes on a nature adventure with Grandad. To celebrate, I've compiled this set of activities which you American parents can do with your kids while waiting for next week's big day, some from the 50 Days Of Bluey website.
https://www.huggies.com/en-us/tips-advice/activities-play/things-to-do/10-ideas-for-daddy-daughter-dates-with-a-toddler - Dads, try to make up a story about the places you go to with your daughter, using Bluey, Bandit and Bingo, and sometimes make it an I.B.F.Fs story featuring me and my siblings Luke, Resus and Cleo.

The Deal
On the 8th of March, the nightmare will finally be over. No longer will we see Bitesize and other educational CBBC shows move Scream Street aside! Tell you what: I'll make a deal with you: if this whole Bitesize flim-flam is to end on the 8th of March, I'll get a big choc bar from Amazon. If it doesn't, I'll post an activity on my blog. Check back on that day to see if I'm right!

Hello Kitty's Cafe
Somewhere on the nicer side of California, Hello Kitty has opened up her own cafe, where she bakes sweet treats and sells them for her happy customers to eat. If you've been on vacation in California, you'd probably want to go to this shop for an ice cream or a strawberry smoothie, but if you're like Hello Kitty, then it's Jojo Siwa bows for you! And guess what: they have penguin waiters, just like in Mary Poppins. Click the link below to find out more:
Nookie Bitesize - Blue Peter Yearbook
To celebrate Radzi's return to Blue Peter, I ask you to write down a diary from Radzi's perspective about his time hosting the show. Maybe you want to talk about the time he walked on custard, or tried to break a world record for sitting on the most whoopee cushions, or his skydiving challenge for Children In Need! Write it from either his, Lindsey's, Barney's, Shelley's or another CBBC character or star's perspective, and if you haven't seen Blue Peter, you can write your own BP diary every Thursday from the point of view of either Lindsey, Richie, Adam, Mwaksy or Henry. Head to the CBBC schedules page for inspiration:
And once you've done that, head over to the Blue Peter section of the CBBC website to engage in more makes and bakes from the BP team:
