Illustrations In Brora...
Today was a sad day because Carol and Nana had to leave, but there were better things to look forward to today, like Brora for instance. I had a whale of a time at Brora, drawing illustrations for 'Fox' and 'Bear Of The Sunset' which of course were based on the old BBC children's TV shows The Little Polar Bear and The Animals Of Farthing Wood. I even tasted a new type of hot chocolate that tasted remarkably like custard! I prefer brown, chocolaty hot chocolate. Later that day, I met a bouncy dog at the beach, even though the dog beach isn't much like the dog beach anymore...still, I had a great time!
Scream Street Thought Of The Day - Lost Looks
I'm so sorry about this, but due to Brora I had to skip today's thought, but don't worry, with it recorded the thought will go on as planned!
Eefa is the shop owner of her emporium and aunt to Luella. It's hard to believe that Eefa was once an old hag, as discovered in 'Lost Looks', but it's nice to know that the portrait that she keeps in the attic keeps her looking beautiful, but in the original Scream Street books Eefa didn't have a niece, had white hair and managed the shop alone. Likewise, she's very kind and likes to help the residents with their problems...unlike some residents I know! If you were to ask Eefa for a solution to clean your room...hey, wait, Luke once asked Eefa for a magic cleaning powder to help clean his room, and this resulted in total chaos. Another time was...I have to check other Scream Street episodes for further advice, but what I do know was that a few episodes after 'Lost Looks', Eefa's ugly hag self helped Luke, Resus and Cleo when all the town was frozen in time. When Eefa becomes a hag, her temper boils and you better look out! Anyway, she's kinder a beautiful witch, no other witch can outstand her appearance, and just by seeing either Eefa or Luella, you never want to see any other witch - oh well, apart from those featured in CBBC's The Worst Witch, I presume. Maybe The Worst Witch is Eefa's favourite programme...or better yet Luella's, so whoever gets their picture in Eefa's magic frame will have their appearance changed. I don't want to mess with that! Eefa, like any other witch, is good at making spells - maybe she went to witching school or something before she moved to Scream Street...or Cackles'? There is a moment in 'Lost Looks' where Luke is forced aboard the ghost train to get Eefa's portrait back, but leaving Scream Street is a bad idea. A very bad idea. If you leave Scream Street, or the programme ends, you might miss Luke, Resus and Cleo for the rest of your life, or for a couple of hours until tomorrow, when a new episode airs. Back to Eefa. It's probably no surprise that Eefa is the most beautiful witch - in fact she has that enchantment charm on everyone, especially Luke. But Luke can't fall in love with Eefa, I'd better accept Luke as my boyfriend anyway.

"Now Wonderland's tale isn't quite as nice
As the story we knew of sugar and spice
But Wonderland's easy once you get to know it
With the help of the magic of the Dumping Ground device..."
In a few weeks, the best Dumping Ground special ever is going to air (not since China allowed CBBC to air classic episodes of the Dumping Ground) and you'd better watch out, because Jody had better not go anywhere near the Wonder Factory!
