Scream Street Thought Of The Day - The Beast Within

I love having dreams about life in the jungle, especially ones where I share in a feral life with Luke, Resus and Cleo. In our dreams, we were raised altogether naked (except Cleo, who wears bandages) and as siblings, and these types of dreams are so peaceful and natural that these dreams mix the qualities of Tarzan and the Garden Of Eden. Every dream is soothing and comfortable. One dream involves us going out of the jungle and onto an empty, golden beach where we swim in the sea, lie amongst the waves and roll down sand dunes. We happen to embrace the ways of the jungle like people like Marina Chapman and John Ssebunya, and another dream focuses on a hot day in the jungle, where we lie in the cool shade of a tree and splash about in the lake. There's another dream where we stand on the rocky shore near the jungle during cold, stormy weather and feel the violent waves gently wash up onto the shore and over the rockpools and especially us - this dream was majestic and full of balance, although when I imagined my dream, I imagined it ended with me, Luke, Resus and Cleo feeling cold, and our eagle friend taking us back to the safety and warmth of her soft nest. One majestic dream involved us flying on the back of our eagle friend. She threw me up into the air and caught me with her claws - this dream was almost like the flying scene in The Rescuers Down Under - and tickled me before we flew down towards the river far below. She let me go and I skidded across the water, causing a flock of tropical birds to fly everywhere and for me to lose my balance, but the eagle luckily catches me by holding me up with her beak, until we came to a huge waterfall that lead to the lake far below. I leapt majestically off the edge of the waterfall and fell towards the lake. Luke, Resus and Cleo leapt off the eagle's back when they saw me, and we all dived into the cool, inviting lake far below. We splashed each other and relaxed in the water whilst our eagle friend kept a watchful eye. Whilst I was imagining what the hot day dream would be like, I imagined that we'd shower under a waterfall and lie in the river, letting it carry us and allowing us to relax, mainly me and Resus, who'd fall from the trees into the river, sometimes on top of me, which we would laugh it off. Finally, another dream showed us swimming in the sea in the rain before the eagle came and brought us back to her nest. Here, I placed my hand in her wing, proving that humans, freaks and animals' hearts are exactly the same, and that we're all different inside. These dreams mean me time for not only me, but for Luke, Resus and Cleo as well, if they'd like to escape a hard day in the life on the street. Remember, you can take the freaks out of the jungle, but you can't take the jungle out of the freaks.

The Deep & Tarzan: An Excellent Combo

The Deep episode airing today is 'Siren's Song' and has a flashback sequence where Ant, half-naked and swimming in the water, first meets Jeffrey, his best friend and pet fish. It always reminds me of the trailer for Disney's Tarzan, where the gorilla says 'That one hurt 'em' after Tarzan splash lands into the lake.

I.B.F.F Diaries '97: The Visitor

I used to love watching 'The Visitor', a Kipper VHS tape from my childhood. I've turned this video into a book in the I.B.F.F Diaries series, retelling 'The Visitor', 'The Umbrella', 'The Seaside', 'Nothing Ever Happens' and 'The Rainbow Puddle' from the point of view of Kipper as he writes in his diary. This includes scenes never seen in these episodes, such as the magic frog casting a spell, Kipper's Uncle Fido and never-before-heard dialogue.
